The experience

Our Plastic Free project is looking to expand our team. Can you help us build something or are just generalizing crafty and interested in the topic? We are looking for passionate and hands on help for beach cleanups, working our recycling machines and craft things out of the beach trash, help with environmental awareness workshops and be a support for our team!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Intermediate English and Intermediate Spanish

Between 26 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Our assistants help with the assigned program and also within the volunteer accommodation to keep everything organized and as clean as possible. At the same time, they have the opportunity to develop a new role as leaders in our community! We are an environmental oriented organization and are looking for people interested in making a difference.

Activities & Shift

Usually 5h per day which can be distributed in between house chores and volunteer position. Shifts vary, 2 days off per week to explore the area and enjoy beach life, connecting with the wonderful nature around us!
