Kate and Aris put a lot of effort in creating a friend-like athmosphere at all times in the hostel. Kate creating events, making food and preocupied that everyone is feeling ok. Aris, managing effectively our times and preocupied for the safety of all. The experience was very special, so friendly and warmly by everyone. The hostel is a awesome place, full of life and with activities and plans every day. Aris, Kate and Mari are a great team, they're clear about the tasks you have to do and it's very organised. Everything discussed regarding the tasks was like that. They are lovely people so if you have any problem for sure you can talk with them!

It was an incredible experience! the hostel truly feels like a home away from home, and I got along really well with everyone. I'd like to thank the managers Aris, Kate, and Mari for their warm welcome, friendliness, and flexibility, always ready to help and to sort out any situation! Besides, the hostel itself is a lovely city, and the hostel is in a very convenient location, set in a beautiful historic building. The hostel was more than just a hostel or a volunteering experience, it was my home and family during my stay. I'm deeply grateful to everyone, especially Mari, Kate, and Aris, who make this place so special. The work is simple and fair, and the hours are respected. The city of the hostel is wonderful and has become a second home to me. I will carry only good memories and can't wait to come back. The hostel is a special place. From the first day, I really felt at home thanks to the atmosphere and the people. Kate and Aris are amazing hosts, always kind, present, and genuinely caring about guests and volunteers. Mari also deserves a special mention for her patience and support, especially with communication and languages. The hostel has a great vibe, easy to connect with people, and creates memories you actually take with you. This is my second time volunteering at the hostel (my first time being 2.5 years ago) and it is still as every bit amazing as it was the first time. Aris, Kate and Mari are truly amazing humans and really care about each and every volunteer. The hostel is cozy, comfortable and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The hours of work are minimal and the work is easy and actually quite enjoyable. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice family and social vibe. I am incredibly thankful to have had the opportunity to volunteer here again, I cannot wait to come back one day:)

I had a wonderful 2 weeks volunteering at the hostel! I was immediately welcomed by Kate, Aris & the other volunteers and felt at home at the hostel which has a friendly, cosy atmosphere. The housekeeping work shifts are very fair and leave you with ample time to explore the hostel and the surrounding areas - there are lots of beautiful nature walks. I would 100% recommend the hostel to anyone ☺️

The hostel had such a cozy and chill vibe, and I ended up having a really great time there. Everything is super close to the hostel, like gyms, shops, bakeries, etc. All the other volunteers were really nice! We even had a Mexican dinner for Day of the Dead, which was awesome. I really enjoyed the whole experience and I definitely recommend it.

Truly the friendliest most community based hostel I've ever been to. Kate, Aris, Mari and Maggie are super welcoming and supportive, the shifts are easy and fun, and the roster is flexible if you want to explore/travel from here during your stay. The room is cosy and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and there is often group meals being made. The only downside I could note about this place is the showers (they know this), they're in the basement and they're just not the nicest/cleanest showers I've had in hostels. Nothing terrible, but not my favourite. I can't wait to come back ❤️
