Program Details
We spend lots of time renovating (fixing/building) houses and love to have people to work with. The house we live in is currently being renovated and an extension is being constructed.
It helps if you have been involved in building or renovating (or are keen to learn) but we also are looking for people who can get on with young people (2 teenagers) and are happy to get involved in the regular bits of life.
There are always a huge range of jobs to do like:
• Painting walls and fixtures
• Installing joinery
• Gardening
• Attaching fixtures and fittings
• Carpentry
• Hanging new doors
• Putting up new plasterboard on the walls
• Cooking and cleaning up
By the way: if you have a background in building please let us know! Having skilled trades like carpenters, plumbers and electricians stay is such a blessing and we are super keen to make sure it's worth your while.

BYO...
There are a few things we ask you to provide your own (if you want them)
- Alcohol (Beer, wine and spirits)*
- Chocolate, lollies or sweets
- Coffee Pods for the pod machine or fresh coffee grounds (we do have instant coffee)
*We do drink alcohol socially, so we may offer you a drink sometimes, however please don’t take the house beer, wine or spirits unless we offer it to you.
The same is true for snack foods. Snack food is an occasional food so please don’t eat all the crackers, chips or nuts… do have a few and if you notice you’re the only one eating them… hold back.
