The experience

We are building something amazing we could use your help if you have the energy and or the skills to lend a helping hand with:

Wood: carpentry skills are lovely.
Metal: do you weld?
Stone: help a rolling stone find a home.
Cement Masonry: playing in the sticky stuff.
Dirt: we move it, add it, landscape it.
Clean: all the living areas must be cleaned and maintained daily.
Art & Crafts: clever and beautiful creations are eternal.



What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Program Details:

Location: Our project is nestled on the sloped of Volcan de Agua, 1000ft above Antigua, Guatemala surrounded by stunning volcanic landscapes.

Work Hours: Volunteers will no more than 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, (2 days off) leaving you plenty of time to explore the local area and engage in cultural & nature activities.

Accommodation: Expect "off-grid" rustic accommodations. Dorm shed, non-heated showers, wet & dry toilets, filtered rain water, gas fire cooking in shared kitchen.

Transportation: Expect all of the following: trekking, biking, motorcycle, bus and back of pick-up truck. (no horses yet).

Tasks: Volunteers will be involved in various tasks including building and setting up infrastructure, tending to animals, basic cleaning & cooking, gardening, and other activities construction and landscaping.


Activities & Shift

Do you have skills?
We would love your contributions to welding, painting, landscaping, carpentry, masonry and rock work.
As well as creative design crafts, Bamboo and artwork.
Shifts:
Early morning session or....
Late Afternoon. (no work between 10 & 2pm)


Rules

Be responsible and clean up after yourself.
Be respectful of the "off-grid" nature of the project. (conserve water)
Don't let Mother Nature offend you.
