The experience

Are you a skilled carpenter looking for an exciting opportunity to help in a picturesque rural setting? Join us as a volunteer and contribute your craftsmanship to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities: Construct and repair wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures throughout the farm stay premises, ensuring they are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Program Details

We're a vibrant, diverse, and eco-conscious travelers' community here in Gokarna. At Experience Gokarna, we've teamed up with local enthusiasts, volunteers, and artists to create a unique Backpackers Hostel.

Your Responsibilities:
- Build and repair wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures across the farm stay for safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to enhance visual appeal and functionality of cottages, hostels, and communal areas.
- Perform routine maintenance to uphold accommodation quality, addressing wear and tear promptly

Activities & Shift

Shifts:
Work five hours every weekday. On weekends, you'll have the freedom to explore the local area or attend any events happening at our farm stay.


Rules

Some Rules for all Staff/Volunteers/Collaborators:
- Have minimum interaction with locals or other competitor cafes, hostels, etc.
- Spend as much time during the day as possible inside the property.
- At times when you are not working, engage with the guests helping them have an immersive experience with the surroundings.
