The camping is a magical experience. You will meet amazing people in an amazing place with amazing views. I truly enjoyed staying there. Hikes around are very accessible, it's very safe to hitchhike. There is a bus stop very close to the camping which can take you anywhere. The staff will always be happy to give you rides to Kiruna or bus stops. What I also really enjoy is the inclusivity that's present within the camping, not just the staff but also customers! Food wise, the weekly stipend is more than enough to nourish yourself well throughout your stay! I made so many core memories there! ^^

The camping is a special place. After a short time, I felt like I was in a second home. The people there are super friendly, always helpful, and support you in all your ideas. If I had something on my mind, there was always someone to talk to, as communal learning is a priority. Through the shared dinners, you also had the opportunity to get to know each other well. The excursion possibilities were simply impressive, and there are numerous options. The work was totally fair and easy to manage, and preferences and dislikes were taken into account.

I don't even have the words for it to describe how much I enjoyed it at the camping, this was just incredible. This the camping is lead by beautiful, engaged, and motivated peoples. This place is filled with really good energy. I felt safe there to express myself. As a volunteer you will have your own space, many activities, and share moments. The work is really fair. At the time I was there i had the opportunity and the time to do some paintings in the camping, I really enjoyed it. I leave this place with amazing memories with amazing peoples witch i will remember forever.

Volunteering at the camping was one of the best things I did in my gap year. The place and the nature around is stunning, in the winter there's many winter activities to do (snowboarding, cross country skiing) and in the summer too (hiking), and you are given space to do these. The people are really the best, super welcoming and always friendly and loving. The work is also very fair, in exchange for the things you get. The period I came (April-May) I could see the weather and landscapes change from winter to summer which was amazing. I highly recommend coming these times. I will miss it!

My experience at the camping was super amazing! I stayed for 7 weeks and the time just flew so fast there. I had the chance to try lots of winter sports I never tried before, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, we had sauna evenings twice a week, shared dinners for special occasions (very often) and some little trips together which made everything feel like a real home in a beautiful community. I will always remember my time in the artic as a beautiful icy dream 🤍 thank you for everything!!

I had a great time at the camping where I got to experience all the Arctic has to offer including northern lights, snowmobile rides, dog sledding, cross country, snowboarding and I met a bunch of lovely people in the process. It is a great team there, so you will for sure have a good time! My only challenge was that the schedule was mostly given the night before and I like to plan ahead. However, the team was open to try their best to accommodate my wishes and were even flexible enough to plan around me getting my snowmobile license. You will not regret going here!

This was our first Worldpacking experience and we could not ask for any better! People here are VERY welcoming and fun! The work is totaly fair - everything as agreed! Also You will have an opportunity to come up with your ideas/projects. We saw a lot of 😍Aurora, had a lot of fun joining free snowmobile tours, sweet dinner times together, dogsled tours, skiing, sauna evenings etc. We stayed here for a month but it was not enough because time pased soooo fast and we would love to come back already.. I can guarantee that this place will stay in your heart forever!

It was a great experience. The work is pretty much exactly as discussed and your preferences are taken into account. The accommodation is also as agreed upon (a little cabin or camper van without running water but you will have that all to yourself). The nature surrounding you is incredible and the team is so welcoming and everyone is willing to help each other out. I'm not sure what was better the nature or the people you work with. Being able to join tours so often was quite a surprise to me and it really makes the experience 10 times better. Also just Olav, once you meet him you'll get it
