The experience

This is a place where freelancers, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads live and work together. The role is to facilitate interactions between our guests.

The ideal volunteer is:
- Motivated and adventurous person
- An extrovert
- Has a side project/job
- A digital nomad or want to learn about it

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Requirements

Intermediate English

Over 23 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You are the point of contact at your house for the guests if:

- Anyone has any questions, comments, or concerns
- Someone wants to hold an event
- Someone wants to extend their stay
- Someone has questions about booking, payment, move-in/move-outs

Once a week, you’ll be asked to have a meeting with our management team. We will go over your feedback and general impression of the house and guests.

Activities & Shift

What will you be required to do on a weekly basis?

- Check-in and Check-out of new guests
- Onboard new guests into the community
- Be the main contact person for any questions
- Keep the houses tidy and clean
- Oversee the cleaning staff job and report any maintenance issue
- Regular check of inventory in the house
- Organize two to three events for our guests every week (including one excursion in the weekend)
- Creating content for Instagram stories for our own social platforms

Rules

- You must have a valid driving license and feel comfortable driving around Crete.
- We do not provide visa assistance, you should have the right to reside in Greece for the duration of the stay requested.
