My time at the Center was wonderful. I learned a lot about QiKong and I were able to improve my Personal discipline in meditating and exercising. Steven (the host) has a pure and clean heart, so if you feel like you want to grow on your spiritual path or if you want to connect more with mother nature and just enjoy life... this place is your place to go. 》Keep it up like heaven《

I had a very good time at the Center and enjoyed every day of my stay. the Center is in a remote location and I would consider it to be a very spiritual place. We practised Qi Gong every morning and most afternoons, that was a very good experience for me. The house is still being renovated. It was more like a camping experience. I knew that before coming there and was totally happy with that. And already during my stay we did great progress. The building tasks were rewarding because you could see immediate results. Thanks a lot Steve, it was really a pleasure to stay at the Center

Steve is a truly nice person with a big heart. I had the chance to talk with him about a large variety of topics as if we had been friends for ages. He understood the situation when I had to return home before the scheduled date without objecting. The place is surrounded by nature and it's perfect if you want to distance yourself from society and chaos. I had a rather cozy private room but the house was a bit messy and soiled because it was under construction. I found this experience challenging (in a positive way) and it taught me a lot.

Martina was great company and was keen to learn more about Meditation and Qigong. Unfortunately the kitchen was being constructed so cooking facilities were not ideal. The kitchen has now been completed. Thank you Martina for your company and hard work. Martina helped with many tasks including working on stone walls and painting. She's a good cook also and made some very nice meals.

If you like nature, camping, hiking and smaller company rather than many people around, the Center can be a great choice for you :). The place is still in the process of rebuilding but I knew that before. The host made the whole experience just amazing! He was very respectful and kind. We spent two weeks sharing great vibes and laughing while working together. The area is beautiful for hiking. I've learned a lot about different things, practical skills as well as training karate. I'm very grateful for that! If I have a possibility to come back I will do it! Thank you Steve!

Casa shin is a beautiful place in the Portugal mountains, a great place to really reconnect with nature. The work is helping Steve the host turn an old ruin into his new house. So everything is very off grid. But there is starlink wifi. The work can be more physical as you are building a house but can also be easy like picking olives. The host is very chill and flexible with hours if one day you want to work 8 hours then the next day only 1. We practice qi gong, a energy practice, first thing in the morning then in the evening again and Steve is a great teacher and host

The host is a diligent worker, and practices martial arts twice a day. I was the first WP on site in September. The site has sufficient energy (solar and battery) and water (pumps and storage). Accommodations: 1 camper van and an area for tents. There is a composting toilet, an outdoor shower, and a two burner camp stove. A construction worker periodically provided expertise and labor - and was an immense help. A rustic place - challenging, and conducive to personal growth and education. On 2 occasions in a month the host and I had outspoken disagreements which we resolved. I hope to revisit.
