Welcome to our film and drama Volunteer project ! We are a registerd not for profit
volunteering film and drama project based in Mbale, Uganda district eastern Uganda.Our mission is to nurture creativity, foster self-expression, and create opportunities for young people to tell their stories and influence positive change in their communities through film and drama and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our creative team.
What you offer
3 hours of help per day
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Beginner English
Between 18 and 80 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
Project Overview:
We work on a variety of film and drama projects, including short films, web series, theatrical productions, and more. Our projects range from experimental pieces to traditional narratives, offering something for everyone who shares our love for the craft. We value collaboration, creativity, and a hands-on approach to learning.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking volunteers who are eager to dive into the world of film and drama. Whether you're a budding filmmaker, aspiring actor, scriptwriter, or simply passionate about the arts, we’d love to have you on board.
No professional experience is required, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for the arts are essential.
Activities & Shift
As a volunteer, you might be involved in:
- Acting: Participate in rehearsals and performances, bringing scripts to life with your unique talent.
- Filmmaking: Assist with camera work, lighting, sound, and editing. Get hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment.
- Scriptwriting: Contribute to developing and refining scripts, brainstorming story ideas, and crafting compelling dialogue.
- Production Assistance: Help with set design, costume creation, and props. Ensure everything runs smoothly during shoots and performances.
