I really enjoyed my first volunteering experience which happened to be at the farm. Although this place is remote, you meet a lot of people and get opportunities to go to Oslo or another city nearby, so it is never boring. It was very cozy to see how close the whole the farm community live together. They happily shared their knowledge about organic farming, hunting and Norwegian traditions. Also I got to pet a lot of cute dogs, sheep and be a part of different events happening at the guest farm. Thanks to Oda for the warm welcome, care and all the laughs. This truly felt like family ❤️.

The time I spend at the farm was my first time volunteering with worldpackers and I couldn't been happier with my decision to go there. From the first moment I felt welcomed. I met a lot of heartwarming and loving people 🫶 . I collected a lot of incredible memories during my stay. Seeing the first calf this year: Taco, going to Oslo, doing Yoga for the first time and the work in general was a lot of fun. I truly miss this place and I would really recommend going there. Hopefully I'm coming back someday!! Thanks to Oda who created this wonderful place ❤️

My first time volunteering and I couldn't expect anything better. Doing the tasks is a lot of fun (working with animals at the farm, cleaning, cooking…) but the best thing is how all the workers and volunteers welcome you making you feel part of it from the beginning, sharing love and always showing appreciation… here you can learn what means to be part of a community! Plus, Oda and the workers gave us the opportunity to try many things like yoga, horse riding, sauna, visiting Oslo… If you want to learn new thing feeling warmhearted then this is definitely the right place for you🤍 Big thanks🫶🏻

I had a superb stay, thank you for your kindness and your trust Oda, thank you for the horse riding (only for good level riders haha). A very warm and calm place far from all civilization, incredible snowy landscapes! I will never forget the great walk with Bobo, lucky this dog was with us.. I recommend this place for all volunteers, you can be sure to spend incredible days.

My friend Romain and I spent some wonderful days at the farm. These were punctuated by discoveries and meetings. We really enjoyed working here, no two days were the same! We had the opportunity to work a little on the farm and we loved it. You may be required to do cleaning or cooking in the same day, which is varied. The tasks are varied and are not that tiring. Oda is a very caring and attentive person. We immediately felt "at home". The place is magnificent, the house is very cozy. We highly recommend this volunteering. Thank you for everything and hope to see you again :)

My friend Mia and I had such a lovely time at the farm. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. We even had the opportunity to take a day trip to Oslo which was amazing. The work is very manageable. Its not too much but also keeps you busy. We never worked more than the number of hours they asked for and the work was always fun. I would really recommend volunteering at the farm. It was such an amazing experience. :)

All in all it was a great experience! The fact that you're surrounded by nature brings so much peace. However it can also become a little one-sided since you do, see and eat the same things every day, and you're around only the same people everyday (except if there is new volunteers coming in). I personally experienced some tension between certain people on my stay, which you obviously cannot not escape, so that was a bit sad. But I got to learn new skills. And I loved the farm, all the animals (!), the owner family, the philosophy behind this place and I got to make beautiful new friendships

To say I loved my experience on the farm is an understatement. This is one of them places that you know you're going to miss. We got to experience the Norwegian ways of life ( including the food, which was amazing). I was able to meet so many great people (both Norwegian and international) who will always stay in my memories. The work was very doable: cleaning after guests, helping in the kitchen ( usually cleaning or preparing veg). I just want to say a massive thank you to Oda for being such a positive host and a lovely person!
