My experience in this place has been quite, quite good. It is a peaceful and very comfortable place, I think it is the ideal place if you travel and at the same time work remotely. The atmosphere with the volunteers is great, and sometimes we do activities together like game night or a BBQ. Mert is very kind, understanding and flexible. Besides, you have the train station two minutes away, which makes going anywhere in the city very easy. Thank you very much for everything!

The volunteer experience was positive, with a wonderful place and good infrastructure. However, some details from the platform didn't fully match reality. The working hours varied, and I handled both housekeeping and reception duties, which was challenging. The platform mentioned breakfast and dinner were provided, but I received a food allowance of 800 Turkish liras per week, around 20 EUR, which may not cover two meals a day. Despite this, I valued the experience and am happy to answer any questions.

I had a very good experience here, Mert was very flexible with the schedulle which I appreciated it a lot since I work online. The hostel has very good common areas where you can work online so I think is a great place for digital nomads.

Mert and the team were absolutely amazing, I have had the most incredible experience in Istanbul! The work was not difficult and easy to pick up and Mert was flexible with the shifts, so you could work double shift and have more days off to explore. I felt at home as soon as I arrived. We had beautiful food cooked by one of the volunteers, sometimes Mert or the guests would help to cook too! Mert made me fish and chips especially because I felt homesick :) He is also an expert at chess. I have had such fun here, I would definitely recommend the coliving and I will be back 🫶🏼

My stay in Istanbul was better than I ever expected and I made the greatest friends with other volunteers. Mert was a very nice and welcoming host and I loved this opportunity to paint a mural!

The place is much nicer than it looks in the photos. Super close to the metro station, the bus and a 20min walk to the beach and sports area, restaurants and bars. The host is super nice, we have good food, tasks are easy and fair. It was my birthday and Mert gave me 2 days off and chocolates hehe. I had fun, we watched movies and went out to many places to visit. The place is quiet and relax, it has a terrace with a super nice view and you can exercise, meditate, etc. If you arrive at night, look for the BMI and the entrance is an alley. It was fun and I will definitely be back. Thanks Mert

If you're working remotely while traveling, this is the place for you! The hostel bristles with work-friendly facilities, and the stable internet connection enables you to work hassle-free. There's also a kitchen perfect for cooking. The volunteer work is also easy and can be done quickly if you get the hang of it. Also, Mert is an amazing host. I'm glad I was given the chance to participate in building his business. I learned a lot about running hostels and dealing with people. I loved my stay here!
