The experience

Hi! We're looking for volunteers interested in staying with us for 1-2 months and help us doing housekeeping for our hostel. Great chance to explore Istanbul on a budget, meet new people, and create wonderful memories

What you offer

31 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

1 day off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

The minimum stay would be 1 month. The maximum would be 2 months.
That includes a 1 week trial period for both you and us, meaning if you don’t really like the place or we are not satisfied, both end can cancel the 1 month volunteering trough this period.
Usually there are 6 volunteers in 1 dorm rooms witch is provided just for them.

In the hostel there are 2 kitchens fully supplied with every tool you would need. You can use the laundry service free of charge trough out your stay witch includes washing, drying ,detergent.

This would be a good chance for you to visit Istanbul , hang out for a month on a budget, and for us as well to find a good worker, who would take care of the daily tasks just like we would.
Its also a good chance to meet new people, create good memories, and have a new and wonderful journey.

Activities & Shift

in hostel our guests covering beds with the clean sheets and when they do check out they do throw dirty sheets to basket
we need help for putting dirty sheets in to the washing machine and when they are clean we need help for folding the sheets.
working hours are from 11am to 3 pm
