I have loved my stay at the hostel! I had the pleasure to work and live with the most lovely volunteers and we all became super close very quick which made working and living together even more fun and easy! The tasks in the hostel were not too difficult and also lots of fun! I would recommend volunteering here to anyone :)

Very good experience at Light Hostel. The people are welcoming and the atmosphere is good for meetings. Family meals and hostel activities are also convenient and well done to meet travelers.

This was my first experience volunteering in a hostel and I had a really good time. The vibe at the hostel is really cozy and all the staff, other volunteers and hostel guests were really welcoming and lovely. The work is pretty light and easy, and the working hours are always respected; you never work more than you are supposed to. I would definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel!

I want to start with thanking Sylvia alongside the team for an amazing experience. I began my journey here and left with friends for life. It was my first volunteer job and without a doubt, it will be on top of my list for a long time. I loved every moment of it. The standards of the hostel are of extreme high and working in hospitality majority of my life, I can say without hesitation that the cleanliness is up there with the best. Unfortunately I have tried writing more than is possible for the review and had to cut it short. But words cant describe how grateful I am for this experience. <3

I had an amazing time working in this hostel ! I already visited and worked in other hostels but this one was particularly friendly and welcoming. If you come in Malaga for a few time, apply for the hostel you will not be disappointed !!

This was my first experience volunteering at a hostel and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity. I consider all of the staff friends and I was surprised at how everyone welcomed me and how much they considered me part of the team. It was an important experience to learn how to live together and work as a team, and I was able to practice my English and Spanish a lot. I will miss my time there and possibly I'll come back one day 😊🙏

I had an incredible two and a half months at the hostel. I had so much fun connecting with the volunteers, staff, and guests. After completing all the different shifts, the work becomes very low stress. Many shifts have downtime where you have the chance to socialize with guests. I met so many people and guests would often ask about becoming a volunteer. I personally know multiple people who joined worldpackers after speaking with me and seeing the hostel. I'm sad to leave, but thankful for the great summer in Malaga. I hope I can return again one day and see the great people I met.

This was my first time volunteering and it was an amazing experience, I had soo much fun! The staff, guest and volunteers were all really great and nice. It is very easy to socialize in the hostel and make friends. The work was pretty easy and varied. I would definetly reccomend it!!

The hostel is great, everyday you get to meet new people from all around the world. All of the staff and volunteers are awesome, and make you feel at home. The work you do is not very difficult, and during work you can socialize with guest and other volunteers. If I could ever return, I would.
