I had an incredible two and a half months at the hostel. I had so much fun connecting with the volunteers, staff, and guests. After completing all the different shifts, the work becomes very low stress. Many shifts have downtime where you have the chance to socialize with guests. I met so many people and guests would often ask about becoming a volunteer. I personally know multiple people who joined worldpackers after speaking with me and seeing the hostel. I'm sad to leave, but thankful for the great summer in Malaga. I hope I can return again one day and see the great people I met.

The hostel is great, everyday you get to meet new people from all around the world. All of the staff and volunteers are awesome, and make you feel at home. The work you do is not very difficult, and during work you can socialize with guest and other volunteers. If I could ever return, I would.

Amazing experience, lets you discover a lot more about the hostelry and meet lots of great people from all over the world. The staff are really nice, pleasant and the work isn't always the same, which is really good. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially if you want to improve your English and Spanish! Thanks to the staff and volunteers for this great experience, and I hope to see you soon!

This was my first time volunteering in a hostel and I loved it. I had an amazing time with the other volunteers and the staff. It's a great hostel, very easy to socialize and a good place to learn Spanish and English. The work was easy and fun and also very flexible if you wanted to change shifts. I would recommend it to everyone!!

I stayed in the hostel a month! The volunteers are living in a little extra apartment which is not in the hostel. So we had still little dorm rooms but definitely more privacy. The work was super easy just cooking the hostel diner, helping to bring the guest to their room or doing the little bar on the rooftop or the breakfast. It's definitely a place to learn Spanish because in the team are a lot Spanish speakers. If you love to party as well this is definitely a good place for you! the hostel is always filled with a lot people and there is a pubcrawl every night.

It was an amazing experience ! I did so much volontariat and this one is the better. The staff from the hostal is very lovely, the hostal is a convivial place good managed and in the center. The work as volonteer is very easy and you can ask for exchange a shift with an other volunteer if you need. Even if you just pass fews days in Malaga, i recommand you to go sleep in the Light Hostal because you're gone make beautiful meetings for shure 🤩

Long story short, too much happened in a short time, from the moment we talked about the shedule confirmation to the moment they gave me a wrong key and I had to stay outside for more than an hour.... but it's ok I'm good. when it starts like this, I'm not gonna lie I don't feel comfortable, wish you all the best.
