The experience

We are looking for help with tasks in the vineyard. Pruning, shoot thinning, tying in and trimming canes and harvesting grapes in the autumn. There will be an opportunity to help in the winery with some regular tasks.

The cider orchard has become overgrown and needs maintenance and there are also tasks in the vegetable garden.

This is ideal for someone who enjoys being outside in all weather and is happy helping with a variety of tasks.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

The volunteers tasks will vary depending on what’s needed but will include help in the vegetable garden, vineyard, orchard, DIY projects.
