First time volunteering and I was not disappointed. This fact that there is a real apartment just for volunteers make you feel like you have a real home. Others volunteers are welcoming. I was able to practice my English and meet really great people. About work, you just need some time to get use to procedure but there is a really detailed cleaning manual so you can work easily by following tasks. Kylie, the manager, is really open minded and care a lot about volunteers and the fact that we are here to discover. She cares about social/work balance. It was a pleasure to work with and for her.

Kylie is an amazing host and helps to get you settled in right away. The cleaning tasks take a little bit of time to learn but once you adjust, it's relatively simple. The staff house is cleaned everyday and a great place to make friends with other travellers. Overall, I had a great experience with this trip! Thank you Kylie!

The experience with Kylie is truly amazing! You'll be living in such a nice area of Seoul and the work is incredibly fair and outlined extremely clearly each day you volunteer!! Won't be forgetting about this trip anytime soon & I couldn't recommend enough for others <3

Kylie is a really good host, she's available as much as possible to help you if you have any question. She also created a manual for everything to help us, the job is easy and will give you the time to visit, discover the area and other parts of the country or having a nightlife if you are into parties. We share a staff house so we have an apartment for us. It's really nice, I really recommend this experience near Hongdae 🥰

Kylie is a really friendly host and we had a fantastic time at our stay! The staff house is in a great location, right down the hostel from Hongdae, and the job allows lots of free time to explore. This position requires hard work and it's important to da good job, but you get used to it quickly. And Kylie provides detailed training manuals that are easy to use to make the job smoother. She's a lovely host and I think the time here was valuable, with fair hours, other great volunteers, and a very kind host who cares about her volunteers :) thank you kylie!

This has been the perfect opportunity in order to visit Seoul. The location is in the heart of Hongdae with so many incredible things to do. and only a quick walk to the train line. The host, Kylie, is really welcoming and will make you feel at home here. There has always been a positive atmosphere here and all other volunteers have made it feel like a family home. The work shifts are fair and because it is only four hours a day I have found that there is so much free time to explore the city. I highly recommend volunteering here and is a must in terms of being able to see Seoul.

I recommend this to anyone visiting Seoul. Centered in hongdae, plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Work is 4d/week 4h/day, you choose your schedule amongst other volunteers. Come weather prepared, youre expected to work rain, sun, or snow. A lot of back and fourth between the work houses, I got sick and still had to work nauseous. Rice and Ramen provided, along w/ other activities & meals Kylie provides. Your accommodation is away from guest, in staff house holds up to eight staff.

This was a perfect way to spend my trip and save money on accommodation! it was a pleasure to meet so many fun people and have them as room mates. kylie and her husband are really accommodating to all of the volunteers, they're always buying us food and checking in on how we're doing. kylie makes sure you never work past your agreed hours and even offers some extra shifts for extra rewards if you like. the work gets easier as you get used to it, and the location (5m from hongik university station and 2m from the yeonnam forest line) really is unbeatable :)
