I had the most incredible experience volunteering at the camping! Maya, Adri and Philine are amazing humans and incredible managers. All the other volunteers and employees are wonderful people that I now consider family. Living in a national park and by the beach is such a special experience. The work is as agreed and I had a blast cooking dinner for crew and guests. A massive thank you to Philine, Adri and Maya for everything, I hope to come back next year! Love and miss you all already🫶🏻

What an amazing experience! Both the surroundings and the people make it unforgettable. This months went by without even realising and I made friends from all over the world. There is always something to do and the working hours are fair. Thanks for everything!

The camping was my first volunteering experience, and it was a great choice! The people were absolutely awesome and I've made some life long friendships. It felt like being a part of a family. Partying with the mangers, seeing the northern lights, swimming in bioluminescent waves and watching sunsets in the dunes were just some of the highlights of the trip. I will miss it!

Sam,

It's been super nice to have you at the camp, thanks for all your help with the yoga lessons but also with any other task that was assigned to you and you performed it in the best way.

Thanks a lot for all your hard work!

Had the best time at the camping and made really special connections. You will live in a big tent together with all the other volunteers(up to 9). There is also a crew kitchen tent to make your own food but you get provided with delicious food everyday. Working hours are clear beforehand and I had to change sheets, paint tipis and do dishes. When there are waves you can have fun surf sessions!

I loved volunteering with the camping and I am back here already:) Everyone is very open and easy going and it really feels like a family. There's always something to do.. whether that be just hanging out with other people, going to the national park or joining the yoga/ surfing lessons. The campsite is beautiful and it's fairly close to Haarlem and the camping. Thanks to everyone here!

This was an amazing first WorldPackers experience. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the camping. We were welcomed and included in the team from the beginning. The tasks were all described in a group chat, so we could be independent. We also had our community tasks (such as making dinner or cleaning up at the end of the day) in a schedule at the beginning of every week. Fay, Sophie and Jan were the nicest hosts. We felt at home, respected and important to them. They always made sure everyone was okay, and made changes in the schedule if we had special requests. I truly recommend!!

It was an amazing first Worldpackers experience for me! Vlieland and the vibe on the island are so cute and the people from the hostel are all incredible humans to meet and live with. We had the opportunity to exchange great conversations and laughter with lots of people from many places and ages. We also had so much fun doing all sorts of activities around and on the camp. Such an enriching experience🤩

My experience at the camping was amazing. The very international staff was welcoming and always helpful. I made amazing friendships with the other volunteers and the camp is such a cozy and beautiful place. Working hours were respected and scheduled beforehand. The shifts are fun & the work varies (bar, kitchen, cleaning, painting, nightshift). You sleep in a cozy tent for 10 volunteers and can do nice daytrips to Haarlem, the camping etc. 10/10 would recommend!! Thank you so much Philine, Maya & Adri:))
