The experience

we provide meals to children in need, supporting their growth, education and well-being. We aim to:

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per day

Fee pays for: Donation to project

Description: volunteers contribute 20US$ to cater for accommodation, food and a small contribution to the activity


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Kenya

United States visa or citizenship


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

the program begins at 9 am up to 1pm where the volunteers prepare the meals.
during school holidays, the food is served as from 1:30pm to 2:30pm
during school days, they all rest, re-energize and resume at 5pm to serve the meals when children are out of school.
