Gardener and or Carpenter
The experience
We are looking for experienced help with our gardens. Mainly it requires mulching, composting, weeding, harvesting and other chores in the gardens. We are also building a few structures inculding A frame cabins and chicken coops and require help to build them.
We are happy to hear from you if you are willing to share any of these skills with us.
Our volunteers are happy to work from their joy 5 hours a day, for 5 days a week.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Events:
Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Yoga classes:
Take free yoga classes at our place.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fluent English or Beginner Portuguese
Over 25 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
Our program is an opportunity for that kind of person who wants to experience regenerative living on a permaculture project, loves nature, enjoys yoga & meditation but also loves sharing their gifts and assisting others through their work.
We honor authenticity, clear transparent communication, and responsibility.
Our program involves joyous participation in our work as our dharma and we look for people with the same outlook. We love planning, we honor flexibility and support symbiosis. To grow together and be a unique experience, we ask for a minimum stay of two months in the project.
Activities & Shift
This position comes with the expectation of having someone who feels into our work and is sensitive in their approach of sharing our story in a way that helps us continue with our work and progress in reaching the people who are looking for our offerings.
We need someone who is enthusiastic, responsible, clean and organized and can also take care of themselves in their free time without having the need of continuous supervision or guidance. We are looking for a good communicator.
The activities will include a number of the following:
* Gardening
* Documenting your work
* Cleaning & help organizing the spaces
* Be able to prepare your own breakfast & lunch ( we provide the ingredients)
* Carpentry (building coops for chickens, A frame cabins and other structures.
Rules
Our space is smoking free and our kitchen is vegetarian. Please no meat or fish can be prepared in our spaces and no smoking is allowed within the spaces.
We like respectful people who are not loud and can enjoy nature in peace.
We would need to approve before you invite anyone to the space.
Alcohol and drugs on site are not tolerated.
We have a morning ritual that involves quiet and meditative morning work without much talking. Saving the deeper conversations for later in the day🙏🏾
