Wonderful experience! As a social hostel, you will never get bored since you can interact with other volunteers, staff members or guests, but at the same time there are areas of the hostel and moments of the days where you can chill and take some time to stay alone. Tasks are easy and time is respected; moreover, the hostel is set in a great location. I spent a funny month and I will miss everybody.

The hostel was incredible, I couldn't have asked for a better first-worldpacker experience!! The hours/work are as described and the managing staff is incredibly kind and fun. Moreover, the hostel is an important part of the local community, and you get to meet so many incredible people while working there. It is a very open, social, and creative environment. I miss it already! the hostel became my home away from home and I would highly recommend it!

I had the BEST time volunteering at the hostel! Burak and all the staff are not just amazing at their jobs—they're also your besties. It's like working with a group of friends who genuinely care about making the hostel a great place for everyone. There's always something happening, whether it's a fun event, a group outing, or just chilling with people from all over the world. I felt super creatively inspired in Kadikoy too, so I would definitely recommend if that's your thing! I kept extending my stay lol, Istanbul is like home and I'm forever grateful :333

My time at the hostel was amazing! The work hours are reasonable, giving you plenty of time to explore and do your own thing outside of work. It's the perfect place to meet both locals and international travelers. The area, Kadikoy, is fantastic, close to everything and easily accessible by public transportation. Huge thanks to İlker and Burak for making this place so special! I'll definitely come back at the first chance I get!

I had such a wonderful experience — and I will definitely be coming back one day. The leadership, the atmosphere, the team, the workload, the location, the accommodation, the communication (...) everything was great — and even more so was the manager. I met the nicest and kindest volunteers and staff at the hostel, thank you so much for welcoming so well. I also got to learn new skills in the cafe besides from housekeeping, which I'm really happy about. The events at the hostel are really fun e make the experience more especial. I have no words for Kadikoy, it's the best neighborhood to stay in Istambul, I'd not stay in anywhere else!! Shift hours are respected and the work is very chill, you will have plenty time to explore and enjoy the hostels facilities. <3

I had an amazing time at the hostel and ended up extending my stay by a week! The hostel staff and our manager Burak were kind, genuine and very welcoming. I stayed in a room with one other volunteer and spent a lot of time in the shared spaces, connecting with the many volunteers and guests coming through the hostel. The housekeeping and cafe work was relaxed and I had a lot of time in the week to explore Istanbul (the ferry to the euro side is so close!) and attend the many social events in the hostel. I feel very lucky that I came to this special place and will definitely keep in touch! 🫶

LOVED the hostel so much!! I felt like I was apart of the team right away, super welcoming, productive and fun environment! They told you the tasks and trusted that you will do them without hovering over you! It created such a great environment! people asked me how many years I'd been working there and after I told them that I and many people were fairly new, they were shocked. It says a lot about the owners and manager, Burak! thanks so much for promptly responding to any feedback, being a kind and fun leader! I would definitely recommend volunteering here and will totally come back!

The hostel is simply amazing! Burak, Ilker, and the entire staff create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from day one. They're always there to help, ensuring both volunteers and guests have an unforgettable time in Istanbul. With daily activities, neighborhood tours, and incredible Turkish food, every day is an adventure! The artistic decor adds to the charm, the coffee is fantastic, and Soda, the sweetest dog, is part of the family. I met incredible people here and can't wait to come back. Thank you for everything!
