The experience

Join us in creating an outdoor healing centre nestled in the woods! My wife and I are transforming our home into a peaceful sanctuary for individuals looking to reconnect with nature, nurture their mental wellness, and be part of a like-minded community. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project and help us create a space for personal growth and healing.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 21 and 55 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

From landscaping and gardening to building and creating, there is no shortage of work to be done. We are open to working with the right individuals to create a role that will be fulfilling and worthwhile. We have limited space right now, so any individuals with combined building/gardening skills will be preferred, but we would also love to connect with artists who can help us to add unique visual appeal to the space.

Activities & Shift

A full list of tasks that we are seeking support with include gardening, landscaping, spa maintenance, building/DIY projects, general maintenance, art installations, cooking, trail clearing, cleaning, guest support, content creation. We don't expect to fulfill all these roles with the space that we have, but at this stage we are open to exploring all possibilities.
