Program Details

You would be staying in a house in the village of Anatoli. You will be on your own in a very quiet village. There is no internet. I would ask you to walk to the sanctuary to begin work at 7.30 in the morning. It is about a 2 km downhill quiet and beautiful walk.

The first job is feeding all the equines and then cleaning their fields and shelters. The dogs also need cleaning out and if it is not too hot they enjoy a walk. In August it can be very hot.

Most afternoons we go to the beach so can give you a lift to town or beach. In August there is no bus from the village.

We do not accept smokers or drinkers.

Activities & Shift

In summer work from 7.30 until about 11.30, often less if it is too hot. Main job is cleaning up after and caring for animals, but volunteers must be happy to help us in whatever needs doing.
