I recommend this experience. Nina is a very kind and caring host. The work is simple and we often finish early. Every day we are lucky to have delicious lunch. We also had the opportunity to discover the beautiful Skadar Lake and go out to the beach. Everything was perfect so just a big thank you Nina for welcoming us and thank you also to the whole the hotel team! :)

It's a very good experience. The place is beautiful, Nina is really very nice and can allow you to make incredible excursions. The food is excellent and the accommodation includes everything you need. The work is not too difficult and the schedules can be flexible. A big thank you to the whole team who made this experience better.

My stay at the hotel was a really nice experience. It's remote, it's important to know you'll need to organize ahead of time to go out of the property. I was looking for some downtime for my travels so it worked nicely for me. I helped creating a communications and brand guide and make videos and photos for social media, I had flexible times and the volunteers I shared with were amazing people, and I connected with Nina in what feels more like a friendship. Thank you Nina for everything! Already missing the hotel and all the little kittens.

At times, I felt like an employee and was hesitant to ask questions about the tasks for fear of making a mistake. I also witnessed her speaking to another volunteer in a very aggressive manner. Accessing the facilities was not permitted, as they were exclusively for guests, and we had to use service doors as if we were employees, always hidden from the guests. However, I had no issues with overtime pay as she paid me correctly.

Even the position you applied for was a position about which you do not know the subject matter, so we replaced the job with someone else without any problems, then we cooperated in that part without any problems, so that in the end you decided to leave early with the gentlemens from Brazil without a word and greetings.

My first World-packers experience was challenging. I felt disrespected by Nina's attitude towards me and the other volunteers. I tried to resolve any misunderstanding in person but unfortunately there was no improvement. I felt there were many lines crossed between me and the host like trying to prevent me from taking a sick day and her speaking badly about me to other volunteers. The location itself is beautiful but with lack of engagement from Nina and her high demands despite no proper support, it felt like a job for me and very stressful at times with her very long messages after hours.

Working at the hotel has been amazing, the hours are great, the tasks are simple and the place is dreamy. Nina is the greatest gift I can take away from the experience, she is sweet and understanding, but she is also surrounded by an amazing group of people.

I really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The place is beautiful and the nature around too. Nina is a great host and made the stay easy and fun! The job is really easy and quite entertaining once you get the hang of it. But even tho it's beautiful, it's really far from any city/town and supermarkets, so if you don't drive or have a big budget for taxis, you can't do much, except for hiking or staying in. It's not an experience for the people that want to socialize and see the cities, but if you're looking for a place to disconnect from the world and connect with nature i would recommend it a lot!

Nina has an amazing property, the nature is beautiful and she has lovely animals. Nina had welcomed us warmly and did her best to make us feel at home. We did the breakfast from 8-12 everyday. She arranged a lot of thing for us to do in the area since her property is a quite remote, which we enjoyed a lot. However we did stumble upon some problems later on. She likes things a certain way and sometimes did not communicate that clearly/directly to us. Nina always wants the best for her guests and works very hard. El hotel es un lugar lleno de paz y tranquilidad. Tiene un entorno natural que vale la pena explorar, con la posibilidad de llegar a ríos y cascadas, vía hiking. La cabaña donde me quedé es cómoda y acogedora. Nina es muy generosa y siempre estuvo preocupada de que nada faltara. Cocina muy bien (con un sabor único y especial, extrañaré sus sopas). El trabajo es liviano y durante el mes que estuve ahí, aprendí mucho. Nina fue muy paciente al explicarme las tareas, ya que mi inglés no era tan bueno. Agradezco ese gesto. Me voy feliz por el lugar y las personas que conocí. Mis mejor deseos al hotel.

Infeliz experiência. Apesar da acomodação e alimentação boa, o resto foi negativo. Nina nunca tem tempo para ensinar o trabalho, mas tem tempo para enviar mensagens/áudios o dia todo cobrando e falando mal de um voluntário para outro. Não se engane com fotos bonitas do lugar, porque você não pode usar nada, nem mesmo o banheiro, até para ir trabalhar voce não pode entrar pelo portão principal. Não me senti respeitada como ser humano, a atitude dela me fez sentir tensa e pressionada, os 3 voluntários que estavam comigo saíram traumatizados da mesma forma. Esse não é o objetivo do voluntariado.

That they will not give you all the conditions, like you are guests, such as myself, so that they understand that you are only there for material interests and extra earnings, and volunteering is just a cover.
