The hostel has been a great experience, and Jin is an amazing manager,always friendly and helpful. Though outside the city center, transport is easy and close, so you can still explore during your free time. You'll mainly work with the housekeeping, dinner, and breakfast teams, all of whom are lovely and welcoming. Shift swaps and scheduling requests are flexible, and Jin does her best to accommodate. Depending on the season, you'll mostly work with children and young people ie school groups etc. Overall I felt well supported and recommend to those wanting to explore the hostel and its suburb

Rincy has been amazing to have around! She’s super hardworking and handles everything from housekeeping to kitchen and reception like a pro. Plus, she’s so nice and warm—it’s been a pleasure working with her. She’s definitely made a big difference here, and we’re really grateful for all her help.

I really enjoyed my stay at the YAH Hostel. The times and work were always respected and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hostel is in a safe location, from where you can also quickly reach the city centre and the city's many attractions. I would highly recommend working here as a volunteer and would definitely come back!

My experience in the hostel was incredible, I met amazing people in there who make me feel more than welcome. The tasks were not that hard, even though I was in a period when there was not many customers. They respected every single schedule and they were very flexible if you needed any day off. Jin was an amazing host and I'm so grateful for the opportunity that she gave me:)

This hostel was simply one of the best experiences I've ever had in the hostel. I have nothing but gratitude for the whole team. The working hours were fair and the activities weren't overly tiring. The time off really pays off and you can make the most of your free time. The area where the hostel is located is well-located and very beautiful. There are parks and a view of the Thamisa River right on your doorstep. I would certainly come back to volunteer if I had another chance. Thank you the hostel Thamiside team!

It was a lovely experience of volunteering; the staff is very nice and welcoming, the work is more than fair and the hours were always respected. You get lots of free time (sometimes two/three days in a row) to explore the city; the location is a bit far from the center but quiet, safe and well connected with buses and the tube. It's a perfect place to socialize, practice english and just get to live in an area of the hostel not so touristy. I highly recommend the experience!

I had a great time at the the hostel! It was my first time travelling alone and volunteering and it went really well. The job is pretty straightforward, alternating between breakfast and housekeeping shifts. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and always available to answer questions. The hostel is very well located: in a fairly quiet area, but very well served (metro station 5 minutes' walk away and bus stop right in front of the hostel). I can't recommend travelling here enough! Thank you so much for everything!

This is my first time volunteering through World Packers. I was a bit apprehensive before going to the hostel, but the staff were all very kind. They provided me with detailed instructions on what I needed to do. The work itself was not difficult, and I was able to finish it 1-2 hours ahead of schedule. One of the best things about the experience was the location. There were two stations nearby, and the bus stop was just a minute's walk away. This made it very easy to get around and see the city center. I miss all😢 Thank you for giving me this opportunity to have such a good experience<3
