Our unique hostel located in Rotherhithe. Perfect for those that want to have a real London experience and get yourself immerse in the local life.
Ideal for domestic or international volunteers looking to complete a student placement or simply looking to offer their support at a hostel on a residential basis.
You’ll be helping alongside our friendly and multicultural team to support in the day-to-day operations.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
What you get
3 days off per week
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements
Intermediate English
Between 18 and 30 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
To support in the day-to-day operations of the Hostel, performing essential tasks including:
•Housekeeping: You’ll get involved with general housekeeping tasks following check-outs to get the hostel ready to receive guests.
•Kitchen: You’ll get involved with food preparation and service during the Hostel’s meal service ( breakfast & dinner).
Free accommodation in a staff bedroom will be provided as well as free breakfast.
Activities & Shift
We ask you to have 3 to 4 shifts per week. Housekeeping shift is 5h with 15min break, Kitchen sift is 6h with 30min break. Sift schedule is flexible depends on business needs.
Rules
Travelers must be over 18 years old and able to provide a Criminal Record Check(CRC) before the arrival.
