I had a great time in the camping! Made friends for life there with the other volunteers and local staff. Thanks to Dario, Bernie, Sam, Yaz, Capi, Mau, Yolo and Chile. Working hours, free day and tasks were as agreed before. Had my own cabana which was great, but recommend bringing ear plugs because the road is super noisy. Some basic groceries were provided not in a regular basis, so you'll need to buy your own food to cook. Overall a good experience and recommend to other volunteers. Thanks, the camping team!

Teaching sunrise yoga by the Laguna was an absolute highlight. Meeting interesting people from all over the world allowed me make incredible connections. The owner personally checked with me daily to see if I'm ok and if I need anything. They were very flexible with my time off requests and I got to take a trip to the nearby Mahahual which was a true Caribbean paradise. The only minus was the nearby highway but I stopped hearing it after a few days. And I got used to biking along it. Overall I think this is a great option to spend a couple weeks, disconnect and truly enjoy the lagoon!

We spend a really good Time in the camping ! Dario is really welcoming and help us to feel confortable and to discover Bacalar. The place is incredible and so peacefull, with acess to the lagune. Thank you for this expérience ☀️

This place is a gem in Bacalar. My experience was great here. The staff is welcoming, understanding and supportive. I've had additional tasks during my time here as a yoga instructor and photographer which has been enjoyable being able to connect with travelers from all over the world. Having my own cabana makes this place feel like home. Muchas gracias 🙏🏽☺️

Ben and Dario saved us when a host in town failed to provide adequate accommodations, and we ended up staying with them for a month. Tasks were diverse and changed the daily routine. We had free access to a scooter, and Dario would often host barbecues and have other locals from town come out as well, making us feel not so isolated being slightly outside of town. Having a private glamping tent for a month was a treat. And practicing my Spanish with Mari and Gio who only spoke spanish really forced me to learn more than if we had stayed at a hostel in town.

I enjoyed my time at the camping and the people it attracted. It was great to practice Spanish and have my own cabana for the time. The only cons were that it was difficult to sleep and work with a busy road next to the cabana and second meal was not provided for multiple days.

It is a great experience I am working as a chef in my volunteer hours. It is great to practice my Spanish with the locals they are very nice and patient. Is is so good as a matter of fact that I am staying for a while longer.

Nuestra experiencia en el camping fue muy agradable, Dario es muy flexible en cuanto a las solicitudes que tuvimos e hizo que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda, convivimos con Ben y Yaz que son parte del staff, son muy agradables y directos. En cuanto a las actividades que realizamos fueron muy amenas y fáciles de hacer, pudimos aprovechar el uso de las bicicletas para conocer Bacalar y disfrutamos los tours que ofrece el camping, la vista desde el glamping a la laguna es hermosa y tuvimos oportunidad de ver los amaneceres más hermosos en kayak. Esperamos volver :)
