I had a fantastic time volunteering at CMK the Center! A remote and peaceful location, there's a little village to explore and also a gorgeous forest to walk through nearby. The work was reasonable and overall well-organised and flexible. In addition, the team there were so open and welcoming; I got to meet heaps of amazing volunteers too, who I loved getting to work with. This was my first volunteering experience, and I absolutely loved it.

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn't have asked for anything better. All the people I met were extremely receptive, friendly, kind and patient. Not everyone speaks English and I don't understand any French, but that didn't stop us from communicating with patience and understanding. The schedules are very organized and it was always very clear what was expected of me. My tasks were explained very well. Furthermore, the place is simply incredible, the connection with nature was spectacular and it was incredible to be able to disconnect from urban life.

This is one of the experiences that will leave you with so much more than you are giving! Everyone here is kind and always willing to help. It will feel like a community where you are welcomed and depending on how involved you want to be, it will make you feel like you belong. The castle and grounds ad just stunning, surrounded by nature, which is perfect for self reflection during your time off. Thank you KMC team for the opportunity to spend an amazing time here. Miss you.

My experience at KMC the Center was truly remarkable. Despite the language barrier, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel like part of a close-knit family. Exploring the profound teachings of the Center Buddhism added a unique depth to my journey. I wholeheartedly recommend this enriching experience to all future volunteers. It was undoubtedly the best time of my life, and I eagerly anticipate my return to this extraordinary community.

CMK the Center was a brilliant volunteering experience! The staff and other volunteers were all incredibly kind, the work was enjoyable, and the accommodation was great. I highly recommend it.

O lugar é grande com muita natureza. Há espaços nos jardins para descansar, ler e meditar. Os quartos possuem banheiro e estrutura suficiente para os voluntários. O trabalho tem horários diferenciados e bem divididos. Pode participar das práticas a aulas em inglês ou francês. A energia é leve e elevada. Uma oportunidade de reflexão e prática de várias virtudes. Agradeço a confiança e respeito à mim e ao meu trabalho! :)

El centro es un espacio magnífico donde creé recuerdos inolvidables y conocí personas increíbles. Los horarios de trabajo son bien respetados, hay un ambiente muy bonito entre todos. Todos los trabajadores, voluntarios y huespedes tienen vibras muy bonitas. El castillo es hermoso, excelentes condiciones para los voluntarios. Comida vegetariana rica y nutritiva. Disfruté mucho las clases de meditación en ingles y mejoró mi conocimiento sobre el budismo. 100% recomendado.

Es un lugar impresionante, aunque solo dedicaba unas pocas horas diarias a las tareas de voluntario en la zona de la cocina, cada momento allí se convirtió en un pequeño regalo. Pero lo que realmente llenó fue todo lo que viví fuera de esos ratos: la quietud que respira en cada rincón, el murmullo del viento en los árboles, el respeto que impregna el ambiente y, sobre todo, la calidez humana que compartieron conmigo. La comida y las habitaciones perfectas. Un espacio donde conectar. Mi primer voluntariado y ha sido fantástico, gracias a todos los anfitriones.
