I had the most wonderful time at Irena's and found her so welcoming. The work varied from simple tasks like collecting wood to heat the house to some computer coding for one of her projects, so I found it all very interesting! I could not recommend this experience enough to anyone wanting to take a step back from a busy life to be somewhere surrounded by beautiful countryside and people. If you are someone who loves animals, there is plenty of cats and some friendly dogs to keep you company too!

My experience with Irena was wonderful. She lives in a cozy little house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature and accompanied by cute cats and dogs. She's thoughtful, understanding and always has something interesting to talk about. Irena did everything she could to make me feel comfortable and at home. The work was simple, and she was very flexible, I could organize my tasks myself and work independently. She also has an energetic little son named Fela, who was a joy to be around. I can definitely recommend staying with Irena and giving her a hand! Hope to see you again Irena! 💛

I really enjoyed my time with Irena and her son! She was so hospitable, kind, and interesting to talk to. The work was super easy and relaxed- I cooked meals for them, picked ripe fruit, and helped with weeding/watering the garden. There's a beautiful creek very close by that I really enjoyed cooling off in, the wifi works great, and Irena taught me how to make homemade donuts and bread with very simple ingredients! She even did a tarot card reading for me which was super interesting and insightful. Much love to this sweet family 🥰

Hello Irena, we write you to let you know that we felt like leaving the place due to my health problem and its consecuences. I sometimed get ill and have asthma attacks in big or old houses. However, we wanted you to know that we have had a great time in Pribič and that we are veery grateful for the trust you've shown to us, you are a really kind and interesting person, with an interesting lifestyle. This was my first WorldPackers experience and it was really pleasant! The place where Irena's house is at is really green, peaceful and beautiful, and if you are looking to disconnect a little from the city life, this a really good place for that! Also, I was the only volunteer on the dates I went, but Irena and her 4 years old son Fela made me feel very welcome :) I enjoyed it a lot being there. Best wishes for both of you!

When I arrived in Split, Irena was super helpful and gave me all the possible ways to get to the volunteering location, as well as tips for buying a chip, apps to use for travel. But we were practically 350 km away from the place and Irena offered a ride after we arrived in Jastrebarsko, also concerned about each stage of the journey, in contact checking that we were ok. We went through many difficulties along the way and she motivated us to continue, I felt as if we had been friends for years, but unfortunately we were unable to reach our destination due to the lack of public transport.

Truly had the best time with Irena. Living near a quaint little town in the picturesque Croatian mountains was a great life experience and I recommend it to everyone wanting to get away from the busy city life for a while . I met a lot of fantastic locals who where very friendly and outgoing. All the best James .

My experience in Pribic was amazing, I received a warm welcome from Irena who is an amazing host, and met other travellers who were great to hang with! The place was gorgeous with lots of walking routes, providing great opportunities for photography. It was healing, and a welcome break from the busy city's.
