The experience

Hi there!

We are a family owned Glamping Site, based in Kos, Greece!

We are looking for someone social and eager to come and volunteer with us and help us with reception and admin work, such as correspondence on different platforms, giving guests a warm welcome and also process payments.

Shifts are 5 hours a day and 1 day off a week. You get the roster every sunday for the next coming week.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

1 day off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 20 and 80 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We are all a big family here consisting of volunteers, staff and the family. We all live together at the back of the glamping in the staff area and volunteers are sharing tents split into female and male but with your own furniture. You have a normal bed, a nightstand, some drawers to put your clothes and we all share the bathrooms. You can also wash your clothes with us, as we have a washing machine (free of charge of course).

Activities & Shift

Shift is 5h a day and it's basically taking care of basic reception and admin stuff such as replying to emails, booking tours for our clients, helping them plan their vacation, keep the payments up to date...
