The experience

Join the energetic Nomad Team in Cancún and make every guest’s stay unforgettable!

As part of your role, you’ll collaborate with Cancún’s top local guide, Carlos, on exciting weekly tours think, tacos, biking, and street art exploration. Your mission? Be the friendly face who checks in with guests, ensures they’re having a great time, and encourages them to sign up for our afternoon activities.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Additional fee required

Amount: MXN$ 1000 One time

Description: We 1000 MXN Pesos security Deposit which you will get back at the end of your volunteering time if everything is ok. if you leave before the time, we agree you lost your deposit.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 22 and 36 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

SHIFTS
5 days a week /2 day off. The schedule depends of the hostel operation and will be announced every week in a WhatsApp group chat.

ACTIVITIES
- Inform guests about the tours we offer and sign them up.
- Join the tours and add an extra little sparkle wherever you go 😉
- Encourage guests to leave reviews about their stay at our hostels.
- Obtain raw video/photo content during activities for further promotion


Rules

DEPOSIT:
We request a $50 USD security deposit. If you leave before the date we agreed upon, you will lose your deposit.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. We have a *BASIC* WI-FI connection.
2. We *CANNOT* offer vegetarian options for lunch.

RULES:
- Always be on time to your scheduled activities.
- *NO* smoking or drinking during activities.
- Don't enter guests rooms
- Additional guests aren't allowed inside volunteer's rooms
- Don't bring external guests to the hostel. If you want to bring somebody external *ASK* for permission from the manager
- Report any found and unclaimed items to Lost-And-Found (front desk)
- Keep your room, bathrooms and hostel areas *CLEAN*
- Don't bring drugs to your room or to the hostel. We have a zero tolerance policy.
- Take care of the hostel's supplies and equipment
