I had the best experience on Worldpackers staying with this amazing family in Wales. They are incredibly kind, empathetic, and always willing to help. Even with my limited English, they made me feel welcome and treated me like one of their own. Anthony has endless patience, Maria cooks healthy and delicious meals, and their children are an absolute joy. Living with them was effortless and magical. Thank you for everything: the kindness, happiness, affection, table games, cinema, the delicious food and your warm hospitality. I will always remember this experience with gratitude and love.

I had a wonderful time, and I wholeheartedly recommend this farmstay. I am glad I chose the home as my first farmstay experience. Everyone was inviting and so welcoming — they really make you feel like part of the family. Both Maria and Antony are kind and patient in guiding you through their routine, both on and off the farm. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. I gained insight and appreciation for what it takes to run an organic farm, and the effort and dedication that go into every step and aspect. I will miss the whole family and my fellow volunteers.

It was an amazing experience! The family is incredibly loving and knows how to make you feel comfortable, even if your English isn't perfect. It was a real pleasure to share moments with them. The environment is beautiful, with a beach right next to the house and stunning hiking trails nearby. Special mention for Anthony's pottery workshop — such a calming and peaceful activity, I absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for everything!

Thank you, it was truly an amazing experience. This family is incredibly welcoming and kind. The children are all adorable and endearing. We were always invited to take part in activities like watching movies, going to the beach, swimming, pottery, and fishing. A special mention for the pottery — I loved it, thank you! Everything is perfect, the place is absolutely beautiful! Spending time with the other volunteers is really enjoyable, even if your English isn't very good.

I can't even put this experience into words! It was my first time volunteering, and it was truly magical. Anthony and Maria are such lovely, kind-hearted, open-minded, and always-smiling people. You can have great conversations with them. Ieuan, SJ, and Idilia are also incredibly kind. We ate so well — the food was not only delicious but also healthy. There are lots of fun activities too — exploring the area, playing board games, watching movies… The morning work is light and enjoyable! I absolutely recommend it and encourage you to go for this amazing adventure. I'm going to miss them so much

My experience with the Parfitt family was amazing, you feel at home with them. You can learn pottery and crochet, the kids help you a lot to improve your English. Going to the countryside was great and preparing some dinners was a pleasure. We will miss them a lot. Yayita, Idilia, SJ, Maria and Anthony will always be in my heart ❤️.

My experience was really amazing, Anthony, Maria, Idalia, Euan and SJ, always try to make what you feel like home. they're really kind, the work depends on your skills, but Anthony's very patient. we had pottery class, and I learned differents technics of pottery and improve my English, Thank you to everything. It was my first volunteering and I can say with complete clarity that it was an experience that I will always cherish, thank you very much Anthony for teaching me the art of ceramics, Maria, thank you for letting me make some typical dishes from my country, you are a great family, the children Euan , Idilia and Shirley-Jane left a wonderful mark on me, also connecting with volunteers like Aline, Luis and Lorena made my experience wonderful. I had my first volunteer experience with the Parfitt family and it couldn't have been better. Everyone has an endearing personality and takes an interest in you. They always have a kind word to say and time to give you if you need it. It feels like being part of the family. I taught French and did a bit of food preparation, I had never done it before and I was pretty stressed, but Maria explained everything very well and there's no pressure, so you really enjoy doing it. She's very patient and always answers questions with a smile. It was a very enriching experience and wonderful meetings.
