I came with my partner for two weeks. We had a really good time with the kids, family and the small farming tasks that we were given!

I had a nice stay with the project and her family. I got welcomed into the family home. There is also an orphanage but at the time there were no kids. I ate delicious homemade food, went to visit the school, and was able to participate in local celebrations. Although I did not feel like I could contribute much and I was not sure of my tasks. But the project told me that there would be more work to do on the farm. Due to personal reasons I left after 2 days so my experience is maybe not long enough to illustrate how volunteering can be here. But overall I enjoyed it!

Our experience in the project was very positive: we were warmly welcomed and integrated into the family, with excellent food and the opportunity to take part in family events. The work was accessible and rewarding, though sometimes limited, leaving us to question our usefulness. If you're looking for conviviality, this is the perfect place - we love this family deeply! Babu, we won't forget you, we promise 🫶 We won't forget this expérience !

It was really nice that they took care of me as if we were family, told me how they lived, and let me experience what it's like to be one of them. It was fun.

The project is a very kind woman. Her family welcomed me with open arms. Within 5 minutes of arriving I was put in a saree with tika and before I knew it I was on stage with 2 other volunteers at a dancing competiton. If you would like to experience a realistic household this would be a great place for you. even tho I had made a mistake with the agreement we talked about it and she made me feel better. thank you didi 🫶🏼

We had a very good time with the project and her family. They were so welcoming and eager to show us their daily life and traditions. We learned a lot together, we went to the temple and to religious celebrations, we helped for the cooking, we saw the kindergarten. We have been glad to stay longer to discover more, as it was the monsoon season we couldn't do much with the farming. We'll definitely visit again the project's family if we come back to the project ! Don't hesitate to go 🥰

I had an amazing two weeks with the project and her family on the farm. The hours were flexible, and I love how much I was able to get in touch with nature and learn about their farming techniques. Thanks so much to the project and her family for making my experience in Chitwan so fulfilling and special!!!

I stayed with the project and her family for just over a week and it was amazing. I have been to the project before and just love the culture but this was my first rural community experience. the project was communicative beforehand and I had no worries about staying with her. At their home the farm was in growing season so the work was light and we mainly weeded the land. the project was flexible with the work and invited me to be involved in family events, cultural activities, and general spending time together. But she also respected my need for personal space and downtime. I miss Baabu already! Stay here!!

I had an absolutely chill experience at the project house. From the 21 days I was there, only around 5 days I had something to do. The other 15 days I spent just studying/working on my laptop once there was nothing to do. In the days I had tasks, they lasted around 1 hour and I could help digging and preparing the field for the rice cultivation, also carrying some bamboo, carrying the goats to eat and moving some plants around. the project and her family are really welcoming and hospitable, I could feel like home. Also, I was in June so in most of the days the heat was very intense😰

The days and the hours that I spent as a volunteer in the project at Srishti's farmhouse was really an excellent experience. Sristi is a very intelligent sister and her parents were so caring as well to me. Her farmhouse is situated at the heart of the village. And from the top of her farmhouse it looks awesome to view the greeneries and mountains created by GOD. By the time I was there, the host's sisters children were there on their vecation. At the same time a wonderful brother from Arjentina also was there as a volunteer. Really I enjoyed to be with them and had lot of fun with them.
