The people were so kind and welcoming. Volunteering here is the perfect opportunity to meet locals, practice Spanish and explore the beautiful the lodge area. My tasks each day were helping serve breakfast or working in the reception in the afternoon. Thank you, Mauricio and everyone else, for being such good friends during my time here!

I had a great time. The host and co workers are very kind and if you speak spanish you can practice a lot. But in September there is not much to do, lucky that i met a lot of locals that showed me around The room was different from what i exptected but okay, since you can pass your time outside. The communication was sometimes difficult, because the tasks are not discussed and when people want to checkin or have some questions i always had to call the host.

My time in the hotel surely is unforgettable! Mauricio was really nice with us and made sure we saw everything there is to see. I would raccomend this experience especially if you want to connect with local people. During the day(and night😉) we had lots of free time to go to the beach, have a little hike in the nearby jungle and hang out with the friends we made. I'm really happy I had this experience and I would raccomend it to anyone!!! Thank you Mauricio for this experience and for all the times you made us laugh🥰🥰🥰. (And for finding out that Coke is good in some chicken recipes)

It's difficult for me to sum up everything that happened at the hotel in just a few sentences. I volunteered for 2 weeks and it was an unforgettable experience. Mauricio is the most adorable and funny (sometimes ahah), it's thanks to him that I was able to discover the hotel but also to see this little paradise from a local point of view, to meet new friends, to discover the culture of Costa Rica . I'll never forget this experience! (as for Mauricio, he won't forget my crêpes). 😍🇫🇷

Staying in the hotel was very nice it is a really beautiful place. The locals were all very friendly and nice. Mauricio was very kind and accommodating. He went out of his way to take me new places. The work was really simple and easy but there was no training which made it a bit difficult to understand what they wanted. The room was not what I was expecting and there are no photos of it on the Worldpackers page, but it was private and comfortable. Overall it was a great time and I would recommend for anyone who loves nature, wants to speak Spanish, and wants to connect with locals.

I had an really great time at the hotel. Mauricio was very welcoming and nice. I only worked in the reception but I didn't get to learn much so It was difficult to help the guest when they had questions so I often had to call for help. Otherwise the work was done fast and I had a lot of time to explore the hotel. Mauricio was always letting me go with him and his friends everywhere and everyone was extremely nice. The room was not really what I expect to be honest but It was okey. I would really recommend going anyways.

Tuve las dos mejores semanas de mi vida aquí en Bahía el alojamiento. El gerente Mauricio es el hombre más divertido, gracioso y chismoso de toda Costa Rica, además de ser el mejor cocinero del mundo. Me recibió con los brazos abiertos y me presentó a todo el pueblo para así tener amigos desde el día número 1. Te recomiendo que sepas al menos un poco de español antes de venir aquí, ya que hará que toda tu experiencia sea 10 veces mejor. El hotel es muy lindo y Bahía el alojamiento es un paraíso. Tendrá un lugar muy especial en mi corazón y ojalá pudiera quedarme más tiempo. Los voy a extrañar 🩵💚

Mi experiencia en el hotel ha sido inolvidable. Durante mes y medio apoyando en recepción no solo aprendí en lo profesional, sino también en lo personal. el hotel es un lugar mágico, con naturaleza única y una calma especial, pero lo que realmente lo hace diferente es su gente. Mauricio, es un anfitrión de primera, me abrió las puertas desde el primer día: me integró, me mostró su mundo y me hizo sentir en casa. Una persona de verdadera calidad que convirtió esta experiencia en algo que siempre recordaré. PURA VIDA
