Program Details

While we once focused heavily on permaculture education, we're now in a different phase: needing help more than we can teach. That said, volunteers with permaculture knowledge are especially welcome — your guidance can help us rebuild what’s being lost 🌱

We host yoga, meditation, kids’ camps, silence retreats, art sessions, and forest gatherings. But at the heart of it all, we are caretakers of the land — planting, building, cooking, and sharing life.

We ask for about 5 hours of help per day, with 2 days off, and full flexibility depending on the weather. We usually begin early in the morning to avoid the midday heat, and adapt tasks to the natural rhythm of the forest.

Here, initiative is deeply appreciated. Volunteers who bring ideas, suggestions, or creativity to the space are always valued 💚

We are a small team, easygoing and community-focused — you'll feel like part of the family.

Activities & Shift

There's always something to do, and no fixed shifts — just a natural flow of shared tasks such as:

Cooking meals 🥘
Cleaning and organizing shared spaces 🧼
Gardening and planting (guided by permaculture principles when possible) 🌱
Under-brushing and maintaining forest trails 🌿
Painting, eco-building, and working with reclaimed materials
Helping to build our shade house for growing vegetables
Assisting with repairs and landscaping around a small wooden cabin for future farm stays
Contributing to the creation of a new outdoor kitchen
Supporting or leading activities that bring people together

💛 Don’t worry — the help is never overwhelming. We go with the flow of nature and community.

We’ve had many volunteers over the years who’ve loved their time here, and we’re always mindful to create a supportive, enjoyable, and balanced experience. Your well-being matters to us just as much as the work you contribute.

Rules

Our sanctuary is fully off-grid:
🔋 Electricity comes from the sun — turn off devices when not in use
💧 Water comes from the rain — use it mindfully
🦟 We live in the forest — close screen doors, use insect repellent, and shake out clothing

We ask you to:

Keep your space tidy
Wash up after yourself
Be thoughtful and respectful with all shared resources and spaces
