I can't imagine a better Worldpackers experience - just the right amount of fun, chaos, and organization. For anyone just starting their world packers experience, I would recommend this one beyond everything. Thank you so much the hostel for everything <3

Volunteering with the hostel at Oktoberfest has been one of my favourite experiences. I was there for the entire month and I wish it lasted longer. This is a perfect place to volunteer if you are looking for a family atmosphere and a lot of fun. All of the volunteers become so close working together and the managers are extremely supportive. In my opinion I think this is the best way to experience Oktoberfest because you can go into the festival with guests and volunteers during your time off which is a lot of fun. Super grateful for this experience and everyone I met along the way!

One of the greatest experiences I've ever had. Starting with the owners, Sascha and Jelle, who are always there to help. The Sjoerd, Sebastián, Jamila and Jade, always responsible and respectful of the volunteers, always doing their utmost to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Here, work hard and play hard is put into practice, but it's worth it for the exchange with the other volunteers and the feeling of being part of the whole event. All the food provided, tent, sleeping bag and various other treats throughout the period.

Volunteering at the hostel was such an incredible experience!! The management team, other volunteers and the hostel were amazing and it became my home away from home. You meet so many wonderful people who become your best friends in a matter of days and get plenty of time to go into Oktoberfest together. The management team are professional and caring, always make sure everyone is included and welcomed right from the get-go. I would 100% recommend this volunteer opportunity to everyone. One of the best things i've done to date <3

I would NOT recommend this volunteering experience to travelers from diverse backgrounds. I did not find it to be a place where all people (including people of color, LGBTQ, non-native english speakers) were respected. There was a lot of discriminatory language used by volunteers (especially towards women), and management barely intervened. When I finally found myself the victim of some of these comments, the management actually fired me "because they only wanted me around if I could accept the men's behavior and be happy". It's a sad reality. Meals and accommodation were also not sufficient.

Besides the fact that the collaboration was not a good experience, we don’t recognise the information in Allana’s review. We have a multicultural team, with more than 20 different nationalities from all over the world. We have a very diverse team and we respect everyone as they are, no matter what their gender, sexual preferences or origins are. We disapprove disrespectful behaviour and we are not afraid to confront people about this.

Allana was not asked to leave for the reason she mentioned, but due to a conflict of trust with the other volunteers (both male and female). Allana initially raised an issue, which the management (50% male 50% female) took seriously, but after investigating the issue, it turned out that she had lied about the situation (about both male and female volunteers). We gave her and the other staff a chance to have a conversation and try and solve the issue, however, she didn't want to take any accountability and wasn't receptive to an open conversation.

With the above mentioned situation, she made other staff uncomfortable and unfortunately we had to make the decision to ask her to leave. Further, she had a a bit of a negative attitude, as she was "only staying with us because she needed a place to stay." We are sad it did not work out with Allana, but talking to other volunteers, they have had a great time with Festanation and she was the only volunteer we had to ask to leave. We always advise volunteers to come to us with any problems and concerns, and we take them seriously and find the best way to resolve them.

Definitivamente una de las mejores experiencias que alguien puede llegar a tener, cada momento y persona se convirtieron en seres especiales y terminamos siendo una familia. La energía, el trabajo, las fiestas y todo lo que pasamos fueron momentos inolvidables y maravillosos. Si me preguntan si lo recomiendo o lo repetiría la respuesta es sin duda un Sí, no lo dudaría ni un minuto en volver a tener esta hermosa y gratificante experiencia. ❤️ el hostel 2024 always in my heart 🙌🏻😍✨️

Foi minha primeira experiência de voluntariado e foi melhor do que pensei. Tudo ocorreu conforme o combinado. As tarefas são mais pesadas nos primeiros e últimos dias, para montagem e desmontagem do acampamento, mas temos também muita diversão nesses dias sem hóspedes. O trabalho é bem dinâmico e tive a oportunidade de trabalhar em diferentes tarefas. Para mim, foi uma experiência ótima para realmente trabalhar em equipe e ter o equilíbrio trabalho x diversão. Sem contar as amizades maravilhosas e pessoas incríveis que conheci nesse período! Obrigada por tudo, família o hostel!!! Prost!

Mi primera experiencia como voluntaria! Trabajar con este equipo fue hermoso, me siento afortunada de que me hayan elegido. El trabajo no es duro pero sí se espera responsabilidad de tu parte, desde el primero al último, todos trabajan por igual. Los managers se preocupan demasiado porque estes disfruntando ademas de estar trabajando. Hay mas que tiempo suficiente para ir al festival y te vas a hacer amigos tanto del staff como de otros huéspedes El ambiente es festivo y amable, conocí gente que voy a querer en mi vida siempre. Fue un mes intenso y divertido!

Nos encanto haber podido vivir esta experiencia y conocer a personas al rededor del mundo. Nos sentimos muy agradecidas con todas las personas que formaron parte de esta experiencia junto con nosotros. Les comparto un poco de mi experiencia.. los managers son súper receptivos, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y escuchar nuevas propuestas al igual que los dueños que siempre están abiertos a escuchar opiniones y siempre con la mejor disposición. El trabajo diario es por 7 hrs, los horarios varían mucho y sufren constantes cambios y cumplen con lo prometido en cuanto a comida, lavandería y estadía.
