My stay at the guest house was perfect! I recommend Himarë if you want to be by the sea but also have a bit of mountain views! Nikki is a great host, who made me feel very welcome and made me feel like part of the family. I recommend this place in the off-season if you want some peace and quiet. I'm gonna miss Himarë

I had an amazing experience in Toneas. The places is beautiful, and the bar is unique compared to everything around, plus it's right by the sea, which makes workdays even more enjoyable.The work is simple, but it's important to come with the desire to work. Toneas is a very busy place, and the days can be both demanding and fun. I also learn making coffee, some traditional recipes, and a bit of Greek. I highly recommend this volunteer experience. Nikn, Lambi, and their family are very generous people. I planned to stay one month, but ended up staying almost three enjoying this place a lot.

My time with Niki, Lambi, and everyone i worked with was the absolute best !! Helping out at the cafe as a cook was super fun and chill, the tasks were simple and the hours were as agreed upon. It's right by the beach so you have so much time to relax and swim after your shift !! It has been one of my favourite volunteering experiences, and was so lovely to witness how much love and care Niki puts into her business, and being able to help it grow was such an honour ☺️ I could not recommend it enough, and I'll miss my little family, but I'll definitely be back 🫶🏻🫶🏻 thank u Niki and Lambi !!

I had one good time in Tonea'house! I really appreciate my moment with her family, the location is beautiful! The jobs sometimes is busy, but u feeling like you are in family! I loved my month at Toneas with Niki, Lambis and family at Livadhi Beach. They are very accommodating and genuinely great people and provide you with everything you need. The hours are respected and the work is straight forward either 8-1 or 1-6. I was a waiter in the brunch bar where the food was incredible. You are opposite the beach which is great for a swim after your shift. I'd recommend this volunteer opp and will be back one day

I had a really good experience in the guest house! I spent a month as a waiter at the cafe. The work was fair and very straight forward, somedays it can get a bit busy, specially during high season, but the hours were always respected. You get provided an amazing breakfast everyday and quality ingredients to cook all your other meals. I got to learn more about coffee, their culture and gain more experience in hospitality. Niki and Lambi's family are caring people that look after you. The place is right in front of a very calm beach and you're really close to the city of Himare. Thanks for everything!!

It was my first experience with WP and i couldn't ask for a better one. The work hours are fair and it's pretty easy when you catch the hang of it! Although it's a small city you can take advantage of the beach since it's across the street, and you can easily visit other beaches and the center of himara. Lambis and Nicky really made me feel like family and always provided us with everything we needed and asked for. I'm really glad that I embraced this opportunity and now i understand why everyone really recommends it! I hope to come back one day 💗

After staying for almost two months I understand why everyone recommends the experience. Everything established in the profile is fulfilled, you are with a family where you feel cared for, facing the sea and the tasks are relatively simple. When it came to food we made a list that was always respected. They also have activities to do in both Livadi and Himare.

Working at Toneas cafe was an unforgettable experience and I will miss it a lot. Niki and Lambis did an amazing job at making me feel welcome and they were so generous to all of us. They are always looking for ways to improve their small business and are open to our new ideas from us volunteers which is great! The hours and the work were fair and the cafe is right across from the beach which is a bonus. Thank you guys for having me! I had the best time and will hopefully return one day 💗

Volunteering as a housekeeper at a guesthouse in Albania was enriching. I practiced English and Spanish, learned about the local culture and the hospitality business. Niki, Lambis, little Marieta, and their family were very kind and welcoming. The stunning beaches and majestic mountains of Albania made it the perfect setting. I met amazing people and gained lifelong skills. I highly recommend this experience for personal and professional growth. :)
