The experience
Be the nightshift of our first and only hostel in Tilburg! We are looking for someone who is serious, responsible, but most importantly someone who we can trust.
For the dates: half of April until half of August
Very important: you don't have to be awake during the night. You have your own private room where you can sleep with the night phone which you have to answer if guests need your help for during the day you can study, work or explore!
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
Bartending:
Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.
Night Shift:
Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
What you get
1 day off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Requirements
Intermediate English
Between 20 and 30 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
You work every night, starting when our reception closes. You don't need to stay awake but you need to have the night phone in case a guests needs you for example for a late check-in, complaint about noise or any other important questions. You get a private room and during the day you are free to do whatever you want. This experience also includes free breakfast, lunch and some money to help with groceries for dinner. A kitchen shared with other volunteers, including washing machine and dryer .
Activities & Shift
After the reception closes (21.00 or 22.30) you have a chat with our receptionist about any late check-ins and if there are still guests in our living room. Whenever you want you can go to sleep and take the night phone with you to your room. Whenever it rings you have to answer it and help our guests. Some nights you get a couple calls, but most nights are quiet.
