The experience

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities in our hotel and restaurant programs, where you can learn new skills, meet new people, and make a difference in the lives of our guests.
In our kitchen program, you can assist our staff with food preparation, serving, cleaning, and even cooking classes and events.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

Morning:

Check in with the staff and receive any necessary updates or instructions.
Help set up the breakfast buffet or assist in the kitchen with food preparation.
Greet guests and assist with check-in procedures if necessary.
Ensure that the lobby and public areas are clean and presentable.
Assist with any other morning duties as needed.

Afternoon:

Help clean guest rooms and change bed linens.
Assist with laundry, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
Help with general housekeeping tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Assist with any other afternoon duties as needed.

Evening:

Assist with setting up for dinner service or serving guests in the restaurant or bar.
Help with general cleanup and closing duties for the day.
Check-in with staff to ensure that all tasks have been completed and to receive any additional instructions or updates.


Rules

Respect our staff, guests, and community members. Treat everyone with kindness and consideration.

Be punctual and reliable. Arrive on time for your scheduled shift and fulfill your commitments.

Adhere to our code of conduct. Follow our policies and regulations, including our dress code, smoking policy, and alcohol policy.

Keep the hotel clean and presentable. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace and assist with general housekeeping tasks.

Communicate effectively with staff members. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, don't hesitate to speak with a staff member.

Be proactive and take initiative. Look for ways to improve processes or assist with tasks, and don't be afraid to ask for additional responsibilities.

Respect our property and equipment. Use our equipment and facilities carefully and report any damages or malfunctions immediately.
