We offer opportunities for experienced brand photographer/ videographer to grow their portfolio and get an insight into the whole content cycle from planning to curation to copywriting and publishing.


What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We are a regenerative boutique hotel that drives profits into extensive watershed regeneration efforts including- 20 acre permaculture farm, turtle conservation and regenerative education.

We apply a holistic approach in everything we do including brand communications and work to showcase the beautiful watershed that we are lucky to call home


Activities & Shift

The intern will be working alongside our marketing and special projects manager to curate required content for the website, social media, blog and brand documents. Our volunteers work 6-days a week with flexible working hours and a lot of self-initiated projects.

You will have the opportunity to expand your portfolio but also get to know the culture of the community of Juluchuca, Living in the vibrant culture of a coastal-rural setting in Mexico. For those coming from Western-based countries or busy urban areas, the position will be a cultural reset and an opportunity to learn and share with a diversity of people.


Rules

The other benefits that you will get are:
*Two meals per day (breakfast and lunch) are provided usually during working days (six days per week). You will have one day off and that day you are responsible for your own meals and dinners as well.

*Academic recognition for internships and placements for students and researchers who want to collaborate with us. All fields of study are welcome, though students or professionals with a background in biology, environmental engineering, agriculture, sociology, tourism, communication, education and marketing
