Activities & Shift
Milking shifts, cows are milked and taking care of every day of the week including Saturday and Sunday. A volounteer helps with 5 shifts a week. It means that there is space for three volounteers that divide the 14 shifts among them.
Morning shifts are 5 to 10 am, and afternoon shifts are 3 to 8 pm. The most important shifts are every second weekend when the ordinary employee's have their weekend off.
The Volounteers should also contribute to the common tasks in the place they are living. Clean the common areas and contribute to coocking and dish washing.
Rules
I am sad to need to specify these rules.
1 The volunteer should clean their own room to the same standard as a clean hotel room when they leave so that it is ready for the next volunteer. Hello you are still here until you are on the bus. You are not leaving when you book your ticket.
2. During your stay you need to tidy up after yourself. Of course you should not leave your dishes and your food in the common kitchen but to have a zero impact you also need to spend 20 minutes every day on cleaning common areas.
3. Your working clothes are stored in dedicated places. We have one for clothes used when milking, one for used outside clothes and separate spaces for clean clothes, do not mix. And pleas do not put smelling please do not mix and do not put them in the common living room because you do not want smelling clothes in the area you consider your own.
