A really great volunteer experience, the working hours were easy and tasks allowed for a lot of socialisation with other guests and staff, making my time in the hostel really enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this experience :)

The place is right located in the center of the hostel, close to everything it's totally walkable. The tasks are easy and enjoyable. The staff is very nice. I had a great time and met amazing people from all over the world

I stayed in this hostel for three weeks and I enjoyed my time there. It is centrally located and the working hours are few with very simple tasks (mainly socializing with guests). You have plenty of free time to visit the hostel and its surroundings. The only negative point is that there were not many guests, many of them were adults and we were only 1 or 2 volunteers, so sometimes you can feel a little lonely. Except this, I recommend to everyone this experience!

Chiara worked with us for a month and we as a staff and the guests loved her. She was dedicated with the works that she was handed ,she was freindly,social and deciplined. :)

My time at In the hostel was amazing, met so much nice and interesting people and the staff group is really helping and welcoming! The tasks were easy and fun, perfect as a first experience in hostels! Would really recommend and love to come back 💞

Volunteering at this hostel has definitely been one of the favorite experiences in my life so far, I came here for a summer break to practice my Portuguese, visit famous places and to meet people from all over the world while learning new useful things by doing volunteer tasks - they were really really easy, you can freely communicate in case you need any certain days off and there is plenty of free time that you can use to explore, discover, hang out with cool people that you meet or just chill at the common area. Robert is an amazing manager and I am really thankful for this opportunity :)

This was a fantastic experience for me! They are still figuring out how to fully integrate volunteers. But they are super gracious and helpful if you don't understand something. Everyone was very welcoming! The work itself was quite simple. Once you get used to how everything runs it's very smooth. I found it easy to make friends there because the common room wasn't too big but more personal. Location of the hostel was amazing. SUPER close to a cheap grocery store, as well as a laundry mat. I would definitely recommend for other volunteers!
