Program Details
we just need help with general maintenance tasks for our food forest, like cleaning garden beds and planting.
our volunteers will have their private wood cabin, made entirely out of recycled materials, for single or couple, with light (battery operated), a small stove top to to make teas and cook small meals, a water dispenser and a sink outside to give you more autonomy.
our energy is through solar panels, limited to 800w daily and only in our main cabin/kitchen.
there's only one bathroom with a compost toilet and the shower is with heated water (on the stove) and a mug.
we get our drinking/cooking water from a spring water fountain near by
we also have water from the well.
the weather is very extreme - up to 45ºC in the summer and down to -5ºC in the winter, so the best times to come are spring and fall.
