Finca Ganadito: Help us protect the sea turtles in Drake Bay

It was a great experience that enabled me to practise both English and Spanish. Rob and Rebe are a couple who are very passionate about their projects, and they have a real desire to share their knowledge with others. Their way of life is different from mine, but it's good to get out of your comfort zone. It allows you to immerse yourself completely in the experience and live it to the full, cut off from everyday life. I learnt a lot of really interesting things! I'd definitely recommend πŸ‘πŸΌ

Hi, I am Emelie and I stayed at Finca for 3 weeks which was the perfect amount to learn and to discover the area. I really enjoyed the yoga and Spanish classes alongside the turtle talk, etc. The accommodation is in pure nature which I loved. In the afternoon we could rest and relax at the most beautiful beach and watch the sun set in the ocean. All the meals they provided were delicious and very variated. I got the opportunity to meet beautiful people from all over the world and gained a lot of knowledge about turtles and living a more conscious life. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Staying at the eco village was a surreal experience!! Rob, Rebe and dogs were the best hosts ever. They were so welcoming, kind and made me feel right at home. From the farm work to the turtle project the volunteer program was organised, interesting and rewarding. Rebe cooked the best meals ever!! And she delivered the most amazing yoga classes. The Spanish classes from Rob were very well delivered and the content was personalised to what we wanted to learn. Overall I would highly recommend staying at the eco village and can't wait to go back again.

I would do this experience all over again if I could. Rob and Rebe provide a fun, welcoming and enriching experience to their volunteers. They are really passionate about what they do and the social impacts it has. Overall, the friendships and learning skills I have learned are one of a kind and the farm is stunning.

The eco village is such a special place. I've learnt so much about sustainability, permaculture, wildlife conservation and improved many skills through fun and interesting work. Rob and Rebe are the most welcoming and friendly hosts and it really feels like staying with family (especially with the dogs too!) I couldn't have asked for a better volunteering experience and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Rob and Rebe are caring kind hosts and are committed to making your time in their home as nice as theirs. I feel hugged by this experience and am filled with knowledge and immense gratitude as I left.

Staying at the eco village with Rebe, Rob and their dogs was one of the best experiences I've ever made! Living with the two of them truly felt like being part of a family. They'd always make sure you feel safe, comfortable and loved. From getting spanish lessons, about well considered and organized tasks for the volunteers to yoga pactices on the beach and daily jam-sessions in the kitchen everything including the vibe was awesome. Thank you guys for making me feel super home and learn so much about your culture, sustainable farming, turtles and also cooking 🫢🏼

The eco village was my first Worldpackers experience, and they truly set the bar so high! I had the best time learning about sustainable gardening, turtle conservation and more! I loved how much there was to do and enjoyed hanging out with the awesome hosts, Rob and Rebe, and my new friends from all around the world! Would come back in a heartbeat :)

A magical experience. Rob and Rebe lead the programme with genuine love, care and a drive to live sustainably with nature - regenerative farming, composting, producing fertiliser, cooking farm-to-table, conserving wildlife, even producing our own soap. The work was sometimes hard but I learnt a lot, and there's flexibility to focus on your speciality. The accomodation, food, yoga & Spanish classes were all wonderful. I felt part of a tight-knit group, cooking and eating meals communally, exploring the beaches, national parks and other activities like horse riding, volleyball, and badminton.
