The experience

A tutor to guide a person new to the French language to learn pronunciation of numbers, verbs, frequently used sentences, and phrases using repetition.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: MXN$ 500 One time

Description: Volunteer contribute to covering the expenses of cleaning the room and laundry after they empty the room.

What you get

5 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Over 21 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

What do we expect?
To show up on time for your schedule with your coordinator.
To complete the tasks that are being assigned to you.
To respect the staff and other volunteers.
To clean the kitchen and other shared areas, after you use.
To keep all personal belongings in your room.
Clean the working area and tools at the end of every shift.

What will the volunteer get?
* A room with a private bathroom.
* Assistance to buy food, 50 pesos per working day, paid at the end of the week.
* Drinking water.
* two days off.

Activities & Shift

Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
* 1 hour lecture per day
* 3 hours of gardening per day

Rules

Must keep room always clean
Kitchen must clean after use every day
Must get approval to accept visitors
Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight
Must respect all staff members and other volunteers
Must show for task assigned on time
