Definitely loved the experience 80 % of time. Sometimes there is unexpected change of schedule, but you always have 2 days a week free. I recommend knowing at least basic spanish and take some warmer clothes in the winter.

Can recommend! 💯 Beautiful, remote place to calm down, meditate and chill. ✨ Elvira and Heinz are a lovely couple, very thoughtful and impressive personalities. The included food is „only“ an allowance of 30€ a week, you shop & cook for yourself. Sometimes Elvira cooks for all. To get around you take the public transport, sometimes you can use Elvira's car. Or rent a car. The volunteers place is nice, kind of like a shared apartment with separate beds (the caravans) Would recommend staying 4 to max. 6 weeks because after that you've seen everything on the island. Thank you Elvira 🫶🏻

Elvira and Heinz are very nice people living in a very cute home. The work was as explained and it was nice discovering this place. I unfortunately did not understood how isolated the place was. If you can't drive there is very few buses to go around the island so if you want to move a lot it can be tricky. Thank you to Elvira for understanding me and letting me go earlier.

It’s regrettable that some volunteers decide to shorten their commitment time without a valid reason. On the island, many rely solely on the bus, both young and old, as well as tourists. Therefore, it’s hard to believe the excuses given; rather, it seems that not enough investigation has been done.

Justifying an early departure with unfounded arguments is unacceptable and may also be considered unethical and illegal. Bus schedules are easily available online, with services every hour to the north and south from our location and from Gran Tarajal, and even every half hour in some stretches.

Most of our volunteers move around the island without issues, as there are other means of transportation available besides the bus. Additionally, the bus service is free for residents upon obtaining a card.

My experience in the guest house was really relaxed. At the beginning I had to stay for 6 weeks. The place is beautiful and Elvira and Hainz share all the love for what they daily do with volunteers, teach new sustainable ways to live. The tasks concern housekeeping, cleaning and taking care of the garden. The place is really beautiful but a little bit far owns so it's necessary to take the guagua (as Canary people call "bus") to move, for this reason I recommend to search for a carnet and have the possibility to visit the island in a way easier and cheaper. Thank you Elvira and Hainz for all :D

This was my first volunteering and now the guest house is a magical place in my life. I experienced truly unforgettable moments in Fuerteventura. I really connected with both, Elvira and Heins. Elvira is an artist! She exudes creativity and vitality in everything she does, this is truly inspiring and it is printed in every detail of the finca. In addition to being affectionate, fun and very courageous. Heins is a transparent, helpful, fair person and very pleasant to be around. I feel really grateful for everything ✨

My second time here as a volunteer. I have enjoyed my time, as the first time I was here. Being part of the on-going projects and living as part of a big family. The host has organized joint dinners, we have been with them on trips. Taken the bike to the beach. Last time, I explored the island with the local bus. The bus stop near to the Finka, nearly every hour, both to the north and south of the island. Especially the south part of the island, Jandia natural park is amazing.

In my experience at the guest house, I learned from gardening and cleaning, cooking, how a sustainable property works and what are the responsibilities in a place such as this. I had the opportunity to learn and practice Spanish, and to learn from other cultures and to socialize with nice people from other countries. In this time, I had the pleasure to explore Fuerteventura and the amazing beaches that it has. Thank you for everything.

We liked our experience. The environment and the nature is very beautiful. The hosts were good with us and we had their car for a trip to the north of the island. They gave us also a little present at the end of our stay and we made friendships with the other volunteers. We liked our caravan very much! This experience is also good if you like nature and a bit spirituality. We are thankful for this experience!

I came to the guest house for six weeks, but I loved it so much that I stayed another month! Elvira and Heinz were very, very kind, helpful, friendly and funny to me. Both my Spanish and English have improved a lot! I learned a lot of new skills, Elvira taught me how to enjoy working. I am grateful to life for spending this time here and I really hope to come back sometime. I made amazing friends and we went on trips every weekend. I spent one of the most wonderful times of my life at the guest house. The energy of the finca and the island is special and unconscious. I really feel at home!

Since the first day i felt really good vibes in the guest house. You have the possibility to dive into silence, quiet, pace and be sorrounded by savage nature. Everything is designed for creating environmental responsibility. Last but not least Elvira and Heinz are really lovely person and I learnt a lot from them.
