Teach English in a NGO in a tropical island!
The experience
Visit the tropical island of Sumatra, in Indonesia, and teach English to students from remote communities surrounding the magnificent Gunung Leuser tropical rainforest. Spend your mornings travelling to remote and cut off communities to provide basic English to children, improving their opportunities for higher education and skilled employment later in life. Then head to one of our partner high schools to Teach English to Teenagers.
What you offer

Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Description:
Volunteers pay £250 a week for our placements, this covers all of their costs during their stay and supports our charity and its programs.
What you get
3 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Free Events:
Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Program Details
Visit the tropical island of Sumatra, in Indonesia, and teach English to students from remote communities surrounding the magnificent Gunung Leuser tropical rainforest. Spend your mornings travelling to remote and cut off communities to provide basic English to children to improve their opportunity of higher education and skilled employment later in life. Then head to one of our partner high schools in the afternoon to Teach English to Teenagers attending one of the many 'SMA' government schools in the province.
Whilst working with us, you will be contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goal #4 – Quality Education.
