The experience
By supporting us on activities like maintenance & construction you will be enabling our members to deepen their work on the eco-conscious projects that we are organizing. Furthermore, by contributing along our team in the activities that our Social Cooperative organizes (such as shifts at our exhibitions, cultural events or shop), you'll strengthen their impact and improve the overall experience.

Description:
Volunteers contribute €60 per day, to cover maintenance and financing of our organization. This covers utility costs & rent for the research base, breakfast & lunch for the volunteers, a living wage for our employees, and transportation to the field whenever needed. We are not government funded or aided, and although we try to keep costs to a minimum, this fee is what enables us to keep going.

Fluent English

Program Details
Volunteers are expected to work 3 days per week for 4 hours (12 hrs total weekly), with 4 days off. A working day starts at 9:00 & finishes at 14:00. Working days are flexible but you will usually be free on weekends.
Activities & Shift
Activities include:
- Maintenance and construction work around the house (painting the exterior, light construction, collecting reeds to make a screen, removing weeds etc.)
- Support of activities organized by the social cooperative (help host events, pick up shop shifts, help set up exhibitions, etc.)
*All volunteers are required to take up a cleaning chore around the base every day to ensure a clean & healthy living environment.
