I am happy to have volunteered in the hostel during the last three weeks. The girls at reception were lovely and we had good conversations during our shared dinner nights. I must say the hostel was very quiet when I was there, if you are looking to meet a lot of people, I would recommend going in summer. The work was not heavy, just a few hours of cleaning, never exceeding 4h per day. If there were a lot of beds to make, the receptionists would always help us so we could finish on time.

Cosy, well-decorated hostel with good facilities. The kitchen was well equipped and the roof terrace was a lovely social space. I volunteered with a friend and they managed to give most of our days off together, allowing us to travel to Riga and Tallinn. The work only took around 2 hours most days. Only con was how tiny the dorm was (5 beds seperated from the main dorm by a thin partition).

I stayed for three weeks and had a great time! The work is very easy and it was always clear what the tasks for the day were. We would work max 4 hours a day but if we finished early (which we usually did), it meant more free time for us! The girlies working at the reception are friendly and ready to share their recommendations with you or just chat. Most likely you'll meet some cool people at the hostel to spend time with. Tartu is a nice calm city with different cultural events and good connections to other places for day trips. I will miss the hostel and I recommend it to any volunteer! 💚

A really really REALLY wonderful experience that I will always remember and be grateful for. From the openness of the staff and guests to the beauty of Estonia and its culture, I had the time of my life here and I recommend it for sure!

My stay at the the hostel was good and I enjoyed my time with the other volunteers. The tasks were fairly simple and took around 2h a day. All the receptionists and the manager were also really nice. Just keep in mind that the volunteers don't really have their own room (it's barely separated from the big dorm). There were also some situations that weren't handled perfectly but I still recommend this place!!

The work was not hard at all and the working hours were less than they state. Most of the time work was done within 3ish hours, with a couple days even being 1-2 hours, depending on the amount of tasks needed done and volunteers working in a given day. The city is a quiet city for the most part, the nightlife is quite lively however. It was my first volunteering and my first solo travel experience, and overall I had a good time!

I actually extended my stay here. I met great people and had so much fun, everybody is friendly and open-minded. The hostel encourages the volunteers to create something and enjoy the local life, it makes feel like home!
