What you offer

The hostel is a great place to spend a few weeks/ months at. Everyone is very friendly and the environment is pleasant. The tasks are honestly doable and you still get to have a lot of free time to adventure and experience LA. Love the staff and love absolutely everyone I got to volunteer with :) thank you guys, hope to visit in the future 🎉🎉

The hostel is a home away from home ♥️ this was my very first volunteering experience and I think it was the best experience, you'll get to know people around the world, there are beautiful places in LA so you'll also have free time as volunteer to explore. I was afraid about celebrating Christmas and New Year's Eve far from my family but host made activities with volunteers and we had fun and enjoyed a lot ✨. A highlight from this experience is that host would do monthly activities with volunteers so I also felt teamwork and flexibility when it comes to schedules! Thanks for a lot! ♥️

It was a great experience! the hostel environment is clean and organized, the tasks I did weren't too tiring, the work schedule was very flexible, which allowed me to enjoy the city on different days and at different times, and I was also able to swap work days with someone when I needed to. Everyone gets on well and looks out for each other in the team. All work issues were well discussed, and you can see that the host's aim is for everything to be in harmony for everyone.

I stayed 2 months in The Hostel. My tasks: -Do laundry and make beds -Reception (check ins, check outs, answer phone calls, emails, etc) Usually, I worked 3 days per week and the rest of the time I could enjoy the city or just chill. The tasks and amount of work days depends on the position. The team was welcoming since I arrived, I will miss them all! Also, the manager was flexible with my needs. I really appreciated that. If you want to enjoy Los Angeles and you are responsible during your working time, don't hesitate and join the hostel. PS: there're two squirrels in the front yard
