I had the time of my life at GSH. The work was managable, the hours were respected, the manager is very welcoming and makes sure everyone is having a good time! The area is beautiful, both the city and the nature. I definetely want to come back one day and would definetely reccomend it! All the volunteers felt appreaciated and we got a lot in return for our work:)

I just had one of the best experience in the hostel, Gijón is truly beautiful itself, the hostel felt like home instantly, I got the chance to connect with amazing travelers, shout-out to the manager Ezequiel for his amazing work at the hostel and his disposition to listen and care for the volunteers team, I'll be forever grateful with this place for giving me such amazing memories.

GSH was truly an amazing experience! The hostel is quite big there for there is a lot to do, the tasks are still easy though. I had the best time there and got to know so many amazing people that I'm very grateful for. Ezequiel really goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome and good. Thank you for this great opportunity!!

I felt welcomed, listened to and appreciated as a person and as a worker and artist. The manager Ezequiel is a deeply collaborative, nice and kind person, every week he asks you how you are and if there is anything you don't like and even if you have any suggestions to improve the hostel. I found the hostel beautiful, well organized and very clean thanks to the wonderful volunteers I met. As for the role of photographer and social media manager, if you are a perfectionist like me you will probably be the one who will work the hardest, but the request from the hostel is definitely manageable.

My time at the hostel was amazing! The Manager is a great host. He makes sure everyone is well and appreciates the volunteers - from the first moment you feel welcome. The work is not difficult and the working hours are respected. There is always a good vibe in the hostel - a lot of partying, a lot of laughter and a lot of fun! I've been able to collect many experiences and memories and meet great people. The only negative thing is that the time has passed so quickly :( Definitive recommendation!

The hostel was an amazing experience. Ezequiel is a great manager and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and okay with the tasks. You live in a cute and cosy house with other volunteers. the hostel is a great spot for surfing, skating and beautiful walks. There are some towns nearby for some great day trips. Definitely would recommend staying here!

The hostel was the perfect place for my first volunteering experience. The manager Ezequiel always made sure we had the best possible time at the hostel and in terms of the work communicated very openly and clearly. The work itself is not too hard and it's definitely worth it because of all the amazing people you get to meet, not only travelers but the other volunteers as well.

I worked in the hostel in the month of december and it was great for me! It is not high season so the work is not very demanding and the vibes are very cozy :) It was very special to celebrate Christmas and New Years in the hostel! Ezequiel is the manager and he always wants to make sure all the volunteers are comfortable and I appreciate it a lot. I made friends for life during my time here and I hope I can come back one day ❤️

GHS is a great place and I definetly enjoyed volunteering here! The hostel is super nice and located in a beautiful area close to nature and the beach. As a volunteer you have access to bikes, surf equipment and skateboards which is also fun !! I'm grateful for my time at this hostel and everyone I met during my stay. Would recommend.
