Faye is organized and a personalized list of tasks is given at the start of your stay. The outdoor work can be labor intensive and asking for a quick demo prior to starting may be helpful. However, Faye does her best to make sure the volunteers are well taken care of. She prepared thoughtful meals and the communal, family style dinners were a lovely way to connect with her family as well as the other volunteers at the end of each day. Overall, a pleasant experience nestled in the Landes countryside. Thank you Faye for opening up your home to us and creating a welcoming space.

I had a wonderful stay at the home. Faye and her family were so welcoming and kind, tasks were communicated well, easy to follow and enjoyable, and I had lots of time to explore the neighbourhood and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The family dinners were also lovely and I really enjoyed my time with the other volunteers as well.

Faye is the best host I could have, kind, funny and caring, the kids are smart and helpful. I will have great memories. A word of advice to anyone looking for a volunteer: apply for this one, the home duvilella is really cool.

So happy this was my first Worldpackers experience! Faye was very welcoming and kind to me :) Most of my work was pulling weeds and it was nice to be outside in the sunshine. The place and nearby town was pretty quiet but there were lots of nice walks to do. Very beautiful scenery🤗

I had a great experience at the home and highly recommend! Everything was as expected work-wise. I started work in the morning, but I could have started later if I wanted to. Hours were flexible as long as I worked at least four hours a day. The accommodation was also really nice and the food tasted great. But the best part about the experience were the other volunteers and all the free time we got go spend together.

I had a wonderful time at the home, I got to do lots of different work like laying floor tiles, gardening, installing rose arches for the garden and demolition of old structures. You will work hard, but Faye is organized so you always know what to work on and expectations are clear which makes it very satisfying. the home is located in a quiet peaceful rural environment, and i found such a nice little community of other travelers working at the home along with faye and her family who are very welcoming. This was my first Worldpackers stay and it was a great choice :)

We really enjoyed this Worldpackers experience and felt very welcomed by Faye into her family. The work tasks were well structured with clear instructions that were easy to follow. The bikes and game room were great at fostering community, and we enjoyed the nightly family dinners. The property was very nice and the dogs were so friendly! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my time at the home! Faye was a great and respectful host, the work was hard but rewarding, and I made some new friends along the way! I would say there is probably more to do in the summer, but sitting around the fire and relaxing was nice for the winter time. If you want to meet other travelers and spend time outside this is a great fit for you. Thanks for the hospitality Faye and family!
